Mighty Mouse will likely face Dodson next, which will be another great rematch.
28ths card has 3 good fights, Silva/Weidman will be amazing. Rousey/Tate will be good only because of the drama, the fight itself will last less than a round. Travis Brownie vs. Josh Barnett will be awesome also.

Woodley v. Condit at UFC 171 cause Nick turned it down. Gutted.
Must legit not be interested in coming back yet/if at all. Avenge his controversial loss and immediately be thrusted into the title picture, and he turns it down. Ah well. Hope it does come back eventually.

So excited for 28th December. Would be just as big as shock as the first time round if Weidmann wins imo.
Also the people saying Nick Lentz are a future World Champ after his Mendes fight are confusing me. He got comfortably beaten by a guy with a sinus infection who couldn't breathe and was no-where near his best. Lentz is a good fighter but a fit/healthy/normal Chad Mendes would kill him imo.
And Anderson said he wants to be on Team Sonnen for TUF Brazil cause it'll be fun lmao.
edit: Big Foot tested positive for elevated testerone. banned for 9 months, Mark Hunt gets his 50k FOTN bonus and the fight is changed to a No Contest for Silva. Hunt says he'd rather have the win than the 50k...
yeah right bro. got job looking noble lol.

The Silva/Weidman fight could be really bad for Chris. Anderson explained how he got knocked out, and it came down to him having his foot in the wrong place. He said it was a simple and stupid mistake, but everybody does make mistakes. The likelihood of him doing it twice in a row is slim. Not that Chris can't beat Anderson without a 'lucky' punch though, because he can. It's just going to be incredibly hard. From the get go the majority have said that if Weidman wins it'll be by submission. I think a lot of people are sleeping on Silva's BJJ though, the guy is a legit black belt under Big Nog who has the most successful use of BJJ in MMA. I think if Weidman does win, it's more likely to be via decision. On the flip side I think the only way Anderson can win is via (T)KO. He wont sub Chris, in the same way Chris is unlikely to sub him. Decision would mean Chris managed to turn it into a grind it out type of fight, which he'd come out on top in.

Mega excited for this fight, move over Christmas haha. Will go mad if Weidman retains, will be so so so good. Silva's the goat but if Weidman's the "guy he can't beat" I'll be going nuts. Hope Ronda gets smacked up too, proper psycho bitch after watching TUF 18.

He was 3/3/3 for KO/Sub/Decision prior to the Silva fight so I wouldn't say he definitely leans more towards being able to sub Anderson than KO him. Infact his coach came out and say if Weidmann was going to win it'd be by knocking him out (prior to the first fight).
I don't think he'll beat him but I'll be honest and say I've only seen him fight twice so it's hard to comment really. Anderson saying he got knocked out by making a mistake is retarded, who doesn't get knocked out by making a mistake (eg counter punched, stepping into the punch etc)? He was doing his very risky head movement can got caught. And if he does that very risky head movement again, he can very easily get caught again.
disclaimer: still think he'll kick Weidman's ass.

Well no because that's Anderson's MO, he will do the same. He does it in such a sucsessful way because A) He's quick B) He rolls the punches, a lot of the time the guys make contact with him, but with how he rolls them it completely negates the effect. Making a mistake in MMA tends to be something stupid, not getting countered, that's just being out fought. His coach was the only one with that view tbh It's just highly unlikely that he will KO Silva again, be careful thinking of (T)KO too, beating somebody by ground and pound is technically a TKO. So goes in the KO stats, but it isn't really the same.

Fairly certain he'll have a chance for a sub right away, expecting Silva to come out like Chael II and start swinging, letting Chris get an easy takedown.

The fight was incredible and Anderson has movement, style and pyschological power that I've never seen in a fighter, ever.
But if does the whole 'swing at me', or cocky 'come on, have a free shot' (I know it's part of the gameplan to make the guy swing at him but it's also cocky as fuck lol) thing then there is obviously always a chance he will get KO'd.
And the TKO from GNP doesn't make a difference, infact he probably has a better chance of landing that than a one punch KO like he did before.
But again, I think Anderson will beat him.

Actually I've just rewatched the fight and I'm so glad he knocked him out lol. I love Anderson and that first round was awesome but the length he went to of pretending the shots hurt him was just so disrespectful. He could easily have unloaded and started fucking up Weidman. Easily. But he took it too far and got caught and I'm so glad he did.

You'd really dislike his fight with Maia then.

Yeah it was one of the worst I've ever seen and I don't think anyone was a fan of it, the crowd boo'd the latter rounds and Dana was fucking furious with him.

I fucking loved the first 3 rounds, Silva was so jokes. The last two he just entered into 'I've won the fight, you need a finish to take it' mode. Perhaps should've tried to finish, but Maia is dangerous on the ground so he just avoided any chance of that.
