Big group of lads going dam in October. Question is should I go or not considering I'll be smoking very little if at all. I'm torn on what to do. Either go and smoke or don't go. Assuming they're smoking.

Think I may have decided on Tenerife in September depending on a few things. Only legitimate reason I can find is that they have KILLER WHALES (and it'll be hotter than France which is where the only other Europe based Orca's are) but the 4 hour flight and lack of anything else is cooling my enthusiasm somewhat.
Off to Wales at the end of August for a weekend though, Oakwood theme park and a bit of horsing around in Tenby.

Off to Ireland tomorrow for a week and a half to visit family and then from Ireland I'm going directly to Spain for a week. Can't wait to revisit the chippers of my yoof and to taste Tayto crisps again.

4 hours isn't exactly a long time. Tis when you're not a fan of flying. Spend the entire flight fidgeting and focused on the engine noise, horrible. Can just about manage 2 hour flights which is why Spain is my usual destination. Flown 4 hours to Fuerteventura and I think a similar length (may have been more?) to Cyprus but that was before I'd discovered the various flight tracking things on Twitter showing emergencies etc.... Any longer a.l.a America and I'd neck a sleeping tablet for it.

Truly depends what sort of mood I'm in and who I'm flying with too, last few flights have been with EasyJet from Luton so it's been easy to get to, little faff, short flight (2 hours 15 max to Ibiza, shortest was I think about 45 minutes to Amsterdam which was lovely) and relatively new planes, flying Helios to Cyprus was fucking torture as was RyanAir to Reus.

Went with Ryanair last time I was in Seville. Absolute shitheap and had the cringiest klaxon+announcement when it landed. No other airline I'd ever been on did it. It was disgusting and stank of piss.
I used to hate flying but once I got used to it I started to love it. Trip to the airport is one of the best things ever, just knowing you're going somewhere for a couple of weeks with no worries at all is boss.

I hated it when I was younger but I've done almost every long flight there is to do so got used to it.
Never been unfortunate enough to be on a truly terrible flight, that includes Ryanair.

Two months in New York now, job going well. Reasonable wage working on Times Square in a museum exhibit, enough to be self-sufficient. Once I pay rent hoping to visit Boston, Atlantic City and Washington DC. Too much going on here to consider living here long-term, so much hassle everyday and just so fucking big. But it's been a good experience and I would consider doing the same thing next summer if I could get the same job again.
Just have to be careful not to be the typical Irishman abroad and blowing absolutely all of it on drinking.
