We instinctively hunted animals thousands of years ago which makes me believe it's fine for us although the state of the meat we eat now is probably a world of different to back then.
Always found Paleo was the best way to eat.

Always found Paleo was the best way to eat. Surely you realise this makes no sense? So what if we hunted animals, we don't hunt them any more, we put them in a factory is shit conditions and butcher them. We have no requirement to eat them any more. We have no requirement to hunt them. Unless you're saying you want to pop out and hunt them yourself, which by all means might be worth a try.

I did say that the state of meat is probably very different which acknowledges your point.
I was just saying that animals instinctively do whats right for them, we instinctively hunted meat which leads me to believe it's sound for us. The argument would be how much different is the quality of the meat rather than meat not being good for us altogether.

Of course because we developed emotions and morals. Our body in terms of how it works is still pretty similar though.
Is there an animal on the planet that instinctively eats something that's bad for it? Genuine question, I don't know but I'd be surprised if there was many.

I wish I could go vegan, but I don't think I'd ever sustain the lifestyle. Modern day nutritional normals are very backward, particularly in the west. We seem to be moving further and further away from the most natural sources of energy. Yes thousands of years ago we hunted animals, but from what I've read that wasn't the main source of nutrition. Berries, fruits and nuts were a much bigger part of our diets. Since those times we've gone on to farm animals, then create GM crops to consume, then we started feeding the farmed animals GM crops. And and along the line we are constantly getting further away from good nutrition. In my opinion a vegan diet could be one of the healthiest lifestyles you could live. And I suppose cow rape is bad too.

Vegan diet is healthy as fuck I just don't believe that meat is the problem.
Sugars, breads, pasta etc is the problem.

When the time comes that I'm a dad I'm gonna be really on top with sugar. All my life I've seen these fat slobs wasting away on cheap fizzy drinks and haribo and shit. I don't know how so many people can tolerate so high amounts of sugar, some people have like 3-4 bottles of coke a day, if I have like say half a pint of fizzy drink in the morning I can guarantee I'll have a headache (however mild) some point later that day

I always thought the pretentious vegan stereotype was a myth. Shoreditch vegans dont count cos the whole area is full of Immanuel Kunts, that shit aint solely based on their dietary lifestyle.
We just have a predetermined judgement in our head when someone says 'im vegan'. We instantly think 'oh ffs you're one of them pricks' and any vegan-related shit they talk about makes us see them in some preachy way. I wish I had the mental strength to become vegan tbh, isnt being healthy much more expensive aswell or is that a myth?

A lot of those can be incorporated into a vegan diet though (not sure if you can get vegan bread?) Cashis have you watched super juice me? It might not be your thing but a bunch of people with chronic illnesses go on a 28 day raw vegan diet and the results are pretty astounding. Granted there's a certain amount of bias, but the health benefits of a highly dense micro nutrient diet seem huge.

I think anyone who has a certain level of success with any form of diet can come across preachy. It's like coupes who try and give people relationship advice to everyone cos they're so perfect. It's just not a case of one size fits all.

They fucking love chocolate/onions/any other food toxic to them even though it causes vomiting and diarrhoea at best and at worst, death. The stupid, loveable bastards.
