No love for Shearer in thr conversation then? I mean I'd personally pick Henry as well but devil's advocate says Shearer has the numbers As for Stoke tonight, I'm not worried, which is an odd feeling Shearer definitely up there but there's not a whole lot of love for early Premier League years, probably because most of us are too young to take it in. My best memories are Shearer are with Bobby Robson and when they were in the Champions League and he was quality then but I imagine he still wasn't as good as the mid 90s when he was scoring for fun, went for world record fee, starred in an international tournament and was the best player for a team that won the league. |

I loved Shearer growing up, bloke down the pub was a Newcastle fan and never shut up about him. My first football shirt was a Shearer one! Bad times.
