Tbf Wengers comments about the Mata transfer were face-smashingly stupid.

It's worth noting that those "break his face" quotes were made in an e-mail a week after the "specialist in failure" soundbite, so it's a two and a half year old quote and not something he said yesterday if the press are trying to spin it like that.
I'm tempted to watch a run of todays press conference to see Jose's comments on it, amongst the dozens of Rooney questions the press have lined up for him.

Tbf Wengers comments about the Mata transfer were face-smashingly stupid. Which ones? The only ones I can recall were in bemoaning a January transfer window as it can not only disrupt settled teams and players but also makes it somewhat unfair if a player can play against a team more than twice in a league season, both of which seem entirely sensible to me?

Moaning that Chelsea had already played United twice but now poor Arsenal had to play United with Mata.

Don't quite get how that's "Face-smashingly stupid" Simon? Similar to the summer window closing a few games into the season, it's not exactly fair for any of the teams involved, it's not something that he just brought up at that moment in time, he's been critical of the January window for reasons such as that for as long as I can remember.

I'm so bored of both of them. I hope they both get sacked this weekend.

I love it all, the league would be dull without them.

The league was so much better before Mourinho came and Wenger was a manager who just won shit and didn't get involved in petty childish bullshit like this.
Mourinho suggesting he'd break someone's face is as Mourinho as it gets though. He's a fanny.

They're both as bad as each other.
The only way either gets on the back page is by some bitchy comment, not by fucking winning anything.
