Watching El Clásico with Ray Hudson commentary is truly one of life’s great pleasures.

Journo who first reported that Ronaldo would leave Madrid for Juve is saying Pep will follow him this summer. Dunno how reliable he is generally but that would be big. Allegri to Chelsea would be my guess.

That's a good point, especially with the FA now investigating them.

Am I in the minority that thinks Pep has very little left to prove now then? Except for maybe winning a Champion's League at City or non-Barcelona at least.

Depends. If City got slapped with transfer bans, or had to sell players etc to balance the books, and he stayed and won the league next year amid all that.. I think that's the only thing left to prove. As it is, however, if he goes to Juve, then he'll just always have that asterisk beside him.

He hasn’t won a Champions League in eight years (or even been to a final for that matter) and in that time he’s been in charge of some of the most talented and expensive squads ever assembled.
I’d say he has plenty to prove, not least whether he can scale the heights without a prime Messi, Iniesta and Xavi in his squad. Outside of Barcelona he’s underachieved imo.

Yeah I think that's fair; he's improved great players but hasn't win anywhere near as much as he should have done with what he's worked with.
City may be the exception where you can give him credit for cementing their place in European football as a major player.

Let’s not go back into pretending Pep joined an all-conquering Barcelona team. Without question he’s improved Bayern and Man City massively, saying he’s underachieved since Barcelona is a ridiculous statement imo. Joined Man City after they finished 3rd as well didn’t they? So there was a rebuild of sorts there too, so much deadwood in that squad when he arrived. Not like there’s a manager at the biggest teams in Europe that doesn’t spend money now either, and he also improves the players he has.
