Can't wait for Chiellini to laugh and playfully punch Kane in the face before pens on Sunday

Yeah I've still not forgiven him for that Juve game at Wembley a few years ago, falling all over the place. Hope Kane flattens him on the way to scoring a magnificent header

Watching the BBC highlights - Christensen goes down easier than Sterling for their free kick they scored from.
Lineker also saying he things that from Sterling was the best performance for an England player he's ever seen.
Hyperbole maybe, but I can't think of too many that come close to it. Has to be in with a shout for player of the tournament.

We’re going with the same team or swapping out Saka? Or more drastically back to three at the back?

I'd say depends on recovery but if they're all fit I'd say same team.
Really don't think there's a strong case for dropping anyone - the only players I'd say who are potentially dropable are Saka and Mount. But I don't see any reason to drop either. Stick with what we have and swap them with Grealish and Henderson if they tire.

I’d personally go Sancho over Saka but Italy tend to have their left back overlapping a lot so I understand Saka as well. I think we’ll stick with the 4, Saka and Mount work hard enough so that it doesn’t really matter that much if we go with a back 3 instead.

The only time we've gone back three so far is to match up with Germany and to see out the Denmark game so I'd be surprised to see it from the start here, especially with no Spinazzola, and I think he'll want to match up with Italy's three in midfield as well. As I said in the other thread I don't think there's really a bad choice for who's playing on the right, and in the interest of not changing a winning team and Saka setting up the first last night I'd expect him to start. Though Foden cutting inside and running directly at Chiellini does feel like something that could do a lot of damage. I think Mount is going to be key here, his energy and work rate will be the best chance anyone's had so far at unsettling Jorginho and space in the middle of the pitch will be hard to come by. I think if he plays well we win.
Still feels surreal to be talking about England in a final, mind.

Spain completely dominated the Italian midfield and I just don't see that happening on Sunday because I don't think the English midfield players are on that level. I think Rice and Phillips are extremely high energy players and will hassle the Italians but but I just think the likes of Jorginho and Verratti are more than good enough to deal with it. One thing is as dios says, Mount dropping off and just sitting on Jorginho could be a really key part of it (and why I think Mount will definitely start). Jorginho also has those brain fart moments in him, he's had a wonderful tournament but part of me thinks he could be caught in possession by Mount or someone high up the pitch and England will be in.
I sort of expect England to sit pretty deep and try and use Sterling and Saka/Sancho's pace to expose Chiellini and Bonucci's lack of pace. I don't think this game will suit Grealish, at least not from the start, I think it will be frantic at times and I really don't think he'll do a good enough job defensively to warrant starting.
I also think Emerson, while he's a brilliant teammate and squad player, could easily be got at and with Chiellini on that side of the defence I think there's plenty of opportunity for England to hurt Italy there with pace.
Definitely there for England if they stay as solid as they have been for god knows how long now. Italy play some wonderful stuff so it should be a really good match.

The few times we got caught out against Denmark were when Stones/Maguire got sucked in to the halfway line and the wide players ran into the space behind.
Not sure if Immobile can play like that or if he will stick to the last man but that would be my main concern, especially if we play a four and our full backs push forward.

Is there a good argument for anyone apart from Sterling to win player of the tournament?

Is there a good argument for anyone apart from Sterling to win player of the tournament? Spinazzola, Bonnuci, Maehle, Pedri are the only four I think.
