Marco Reus is such a wonderful player, I always love watching him play. A shame he hasn't been able to win more stuff with Dortmund.

I think Haaland could actually be better than Ronaldo.

Benzema will probably get Ballon d’Or but he’s the best player in the world.

I can't lie I'm starting to feel a little bit of English bias with the Haaland best player in the world shouts...

Oh no doubt - but I do actually reckon he's going to become an attraction himself as Messi was at Barca, and the league itself will capitalise on that.
His CL record is freakish though.

I still think Mbappe, Messi, Lewandowski and Benzema are all better, though Haaland would be the second player I'd take to start a team.

De Bruyne is the best player in the world at the moment for me, not putting Mbappe infront of Haaland though

I mean if we're on a out right now I'm chucking Neymar into the mix. Bloke is unplayable.

If we’re talking right now I’m taking Haaland over everyone mentioned and the only one I’d give a second thought to is Mbappé.

It's way way too much recency bias to be going Haaland or Neymar imo, they've got to have been at this level for longer. Amazing starts to the season but I want it for longer.

De Bruyne or Lewandowski for me. Haaland ahead of Mbappe at this point. Benzema obviously in the conversation as well but I think even then he only moved up into that bracket last season
I do think Neymar has been PSG’s best player this season so far though. Like it’s clicked for him finally

Haaland's been at this level for two years though. Only thing preventing him has been injuries and Dortmund being the most hilariously inconsistent team around. Fwiw I take Haaland over every player in the world atm. Goalscorers like him are worth their weight in gold. In top teams that dominate the game and create loads of chances he'll score like he currently is. In weaker teams playing in transistion more his physicality and pace provide so much for the team. Don't think there's a team in the league he wouldn't score at least 20 goals for fully fit. Only Lewandowski and Benzema come close to his impact.
