Swear we had a boss period with this formation in 2018-19 with Shaqiri coming into the team and then never saw it again
Hard to argue with what we’ve won since in a 433 but it just looks safer and that’s what we need

Has our midfield just gone brain dead this season or something? Why did Milner run from holding midfield to the corner instead of just playing it off and keeping the ball somewhere where he wasn’t 60 yards out of position
Much better performance but not lost on me that it was literally Rangers

That's a disgraceful red for Tomori in the Chelsea game. Literally exactly why the double jeopardy rule was brought in.

I've seen very little of Tomori since he left Chelsea beyond last week and tonight but he doesn't look any different to the player we let go.
No loss there it seems.

You say you haven’t seen much, then conclude anyway. Weird

Admittedly his form has dropped off from last season but he was unreal last year - a key reason as to why Milan won the league.

Rudiger’s forehead looking as open as Liverpool’s defence after that goal last night

You say you haven’t seen much, then conclude anyway. Weird After a summer where they were desperately trying to spend £40m on Nathan Ake as well

Dunno how you’re using last night for that conclusion either, it was never a red card in a million years.

You say you haven’t seen much, then conclude anyway. Weird Well if he has greatly improved then it was most unfortunate for him that in both games against Chelsea he reverted back to the average player who only managed 16 league games under Lampard.

Yeah and he gave away a penalty with clumsy defending.

This is a weird agenda you’ve got against Tomori anyway. Maybe if Lampard had played him more he wouldn’t have gotten the sack with a champions league winning squad

I've passed comment that in two appearances against Chelsea he's been average. Some agenda, that.
