The whole issue over the pound is a bargaining chip the Better Together campaign have been instructed to fight for and is more something Better Together have been "latching onto". If we vote Yes on September 18th we aren't suddenly independent on September 19th. There will be around 18 months of negotiations over things like currency, debt, assets etc. The UK government wants to sit at the table and start at "No, you're not using the pound" while The Yes campaign want to sit down and say "Yes we are". In the end they will meet in the middle with us taking on a share of the UK debt in return for the advantages of a currency union. This is a position the Yes campaign accepts and advertises while anyone with half a brain can see that is what will happen. BT keep denying it like Darling kept denying Salmond had put forward a Plan B last night.
I also found it very hypocritical that Darling claimed the Yes campaign were scaremongering over health services. They ran cinema adverts stating that Scots would lose access to Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital. The day after they started GOS Hospital came out and stated that was 100% incorrect and as the NHS in England and Scotland is already seperate, nothing would change there in using eachothers services. GOS also treats children from all over the world. Scotland would not be excepted.

Bit weird that you guys don't have a neutral referendum commission providing the facts as they are and possible outcomes as a result of voting either way. Makes it a lot more difficult for 50/50 voters

Catch 22 for me, said all along you'll vote Yes (even when polls have been in No's favour, people far more likely to go out and vote if they're after change) and although I can't wait to see the back of Salmong and Sturgeon it'll mean we're pretty much stuck with a Tory government for the foreseeable future.
rofl Salmong wasn't even intentional but it stays.

Scotland's votes have historically had very little impact on the UK General Election, so I wouldn't consign England to Tory rule on that basis. When Labour has been in power in the UK it has mostly been because the English voted for them, not Scotland.

I don't care enough to. That's a job for @djed.
But you'd be naive to think any politician hasn't lied to try and get people to auppprty their campaign.

Above is the sort of lie which is very common in politics. The manipulation of statistics in order to better back up their point. Coming out and saying Tesco are going to raise prices by 16% when they quite clearly aren't or saying Great Ormond Street will stop treating Scottish kids when they also say they absolutely would not. Those are just straight up lies. These are also straight up lies which get no attention from the press. Which I think overall is the most disappointing thing of this whole referendum. It reminds me a lot of when Rangers went bust and we were getting stories in every paper of "Armageddon" for Scottish Football while people on Social Media debunked every piece of "evidence" that the newspapers were printing as fact. The powers that be in the SFA/SPL were quite happy to lie to spread fear in order to protect their own jobs. Better Together are all about the same thing. We all know how that ended up though.

Looks like the Yes vote is now leading in the polls and it has the momentum going into the last part of the race. @djed Maskya Yoshida Stu and any other British folk, honestly, are you guys actually that bothered about the result? I can't see it making that much of a difference for the rest of the UK. We will still be your neighbours so you can't get rid of us that easy. I can't exactly see the rest of the UK being better of with-out us, if they are trying that hard to keep us together. Which ever the vote goes, i think Scotland will benefit from the whole referendum.

Momentum Yes has managed to build up the last year is incredible, that being said though the No campaign is utterly embarrassing. If they got their shit together and actually tried to make the union seem more appealing ,instead of just flat out scare mongering, they would have walked this ...

Not really, if no vote wins we'll never hear or see the end of vitrtiolic mouth breathers like Salmond and Sturgeon, vote yes and we'll still hear and see his smug face everywhere for the next year at the bare minimum.
It'll make approximately 0% difference to my life but I genuinely believe it's a bad move for Scotland and I'd rather see them stay with the union. And I like Andy Murray.
