I'm legitimately worried for his mental state, he's not been good since his mum died but this year something seems to have exacerbated him, he's got a new rant about something different every show. no man should be this angry this consistently and this unrelentingly
He doesn't do himself any favours in interviews, he has the crux of a good point (like his leather jogging pants rant, the point is he wants to be respected in a field that he cares deeply about) - unfortunately he doesn't seem to go over his words in his head so he just talks and talks, and all he gives is soundbites that make him sound mental and it really detracts from the incredible production work he's done over the past 15 years
Also he didn't say he was bigger than Walt Disney, he said he was similar to him in a creative sense

Kanye West is an egotistical dickhead who thinks he's bigger than Walt Disney. His own words. No they're not.

Kanye West is an egotistical dickhead who thinks he's bigger than Walt Disney. His own words. See, this shit annoys me. People love having a go at him by twisting his words or outright lying about what he has or hasn't said. Even if he *had* said that, who gives a shit, how can that annoy you or affect you in any way? Even if people don't like Kanye as a person they should at least respect his brilliant music. The bloke's quality control on general is fantastic.

A lot of people would read some ridiculous headline about Ye and not read the article/watch the interview. A lot of what he says contains some good points, his frustration just stops him from portraying it coherently, and it ends up looking like he has a tourettes infected ego.
Also, regardless of him as a person, his talent and creative mind is one of the greatest (especially in hip-hop) artists of our era.
Basically, everything SoS said, but poorly structured.

They were advertising his hour-long interview on Radio 1 and their way of doing that was to take one soundbite of him repeating the word "versache" over and over again, making him sound like a cunt. He makes excellent points in nearly everything he talks about.

Ngl, his interview with Sway was one of the most simultaneously intense and hilarious things i've ever watched. He lost it mid-way, but after calming down, he explained a lot wrong with the big companies like Nike.

Yeezus was wank, 808s was hit and miss. The rest of his albums though >>>>> You can't deny the guy has an immense amount of talent. I'm personally not a fan of him as a person, but do love his music. He does cop a lot of flack though, definitely more than he should.
Anywho....
People need to get over the 'OMG CHRIS BROWN SUCH A BAD GUY' stuff. It's an odd one, he came out admitted he did wrong, did his punishment for it, the two of them are on and off again so clearly she's moved past it. Yet so many people act like he murdered her, and should be judged by that one moment alone. It's annoying, when you've got other famous people who have done the same shit, and nobody gives a toss any more.
'Teach men not to rape' is the most idiotic idea in the World. Whoever came up with it doesn't understand simple human thought process. Unless the person suffers from a mental defect, then they will know rape is morally wrong, and something that you shouldn't do. They will do it anyway though, because they're an asshole. It's not as though simply walking up to someone mid-attack and being like 'oi mate, you know you can't do that, right?' is gonna blow their mind, and cause them to instantly stop and apologise whilst looking very embarrassed.

He deserved a smack when he started going off on Sway. That whole "you ain't got the answers" was bullshit.

'IT WAS A QUESTION'. Trust me, i was the same, Sway is THAT guy. But he really did bring up good points after he calmed down. Still doesn't justify his childish reaction though. Guy clearly needs to address mental issues.

I think the idea about it is to put blame on the aggressor, rather than the disgusting ideas taught to girls that if they wear something revealing or drink too much or go somewhere alone they should just expect to be raped I don't think they actually believe the thought never occurred to the rapist that rape is wrong

That line got twisted. You talking about an attack is part of the problem it was trying to address. Most rapes aren't in alleyways with a knife held to a throat, they're overwhelmingly done by people the victim knows, in places the victim would normally consider safe, and crucially the guy wouldn't consider what they're doing to be considered rape. It's about saying that violence or the explicit threat of violence isn't the only way a person can be forced into having sex against their will.

It's not teaching men not to rape like we're savages that don't know better, it's teaching what consent actually means rather than putting fault on the victim When you see shit like this it's understandable
