Right, let's have an event that actually lasts eh lads? You'll no doubt notice that it's nearly the end of the year and at this time people make lists to compare and collate or because they can't get it up or something, and football is no exception. They're literally the most passive thing in the world, but it's interesting to see who rates who and it gives the chance for us to bully people, so let's see how it goes. The way it works is simple - compose a list of the best 15 players in the world, in order (or more if we feel necessary). Whoever you rank first gets 15 points, whoever you rank second 14, and it goes on. We'll add them up and then we'll have the definite list which will go down in history as certainly a list we made in 2013. Here's mine for example: 1. Cristiano Ronaldo 2. Lionel Messi 3. Franck Ribery 4. Gareth Bale 5. Luis Suarez 6. Phillip Lahm 7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic 8. Thiago Silva 9. Robert Lewandowski 10. Sergio Aguero 11. Wayne Rooney 12. Robin van Persie 13. Andres Iniesta 14. Marco Reus 15. Neymar To give you some ideas, here's FourFourTwo's and The Guardians' lists, but unlike the latter we're not going to be melts and put an uncapped Argentinian playing in the Chinese league 22 places above Eden Hazard, are we?

Tried to pick the best players who've been in teams that have won the biggest trophies or star men who've carried their teams all year

There should be a stipulation of having to pick two goalkeepers and three defenders. Otherwise its just fifteen attacking mids and strikers. I did think about the defensive aspect of it but I presume we're all smart guys, we acknowledge it's can't just be strikers & that the likes of Lahm, Koscielny (who completely slipped my mind tbf), Neuer, Thiago Silva all offer as much to the side than the likes of Ronaldo or Messi ...okay, mine was mostly strikers but they're the popcorn players, what do you expect

I'm going to try to play this mostly straight without being astoundingly redundant. A tricky task indeed.
1. Ronaldo 2. Messi 3. Philipp Lahm (shockingly underrated for a player who appears in most top tens) 4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic 5. Thiago Silva 6. Franck Ribery 7. Gareth Bale 8. Luis Suarez 9. Yaya Toure 10. Manuel Neuer 11. Sergio Aguero 12. Robert Lewandowski 13. Vincent Kompany 14. Henrikh Mkhitaryan 15. Fred
I don't actually think that Kompany, Mkhitaryan and Fred are 3 of the top 15 footballers in the world but I did want them to get points to get onto the final list.

Not really. Only ones I disagree with are Gundogan, Reus, Goetze, Mkhitaryan and Koscielny. Even they are all better than Cech and Terry.

They are mate, that isn't even slight bias. Look around, no one else is throwing their own players in undeservedly.
