Was gonna put Pogba in but having not seen much of him other than clips I'm not sure if he's been one of the best in the world or just class for his age similar to Lukaku. Tbh I haven't picked anyone based on form in 2013. You've completely missed the point then.

You kind of have to accept hearsay and clips, if I narrowed it down to just the players I've seen very often my list would be Bale eleven times
Fabregas is a good call btw, been doing very well this year

In which sense, Mike? This year or in general. Cos Terry and Cech fit into neither.

1. Neymar. Come at me, bros 2. Cristiano Ronaldo 3. Philip Lahm 4. Leo Messi 5. Arjen Robben 6. Gareth Bale 7. Robert Lewandowski 8. Franck Ribery 9. Bastian Schweinsteiger 10. Luis Suarez 11. Sergio Aguero* 12. Manuel Neuer 13. Zlatan 14. Thiago Silva 15. Diego Lopez
Very few defensive players because very few defensive players have really shone. Ask me for a top 20 and I'd likely chuck in Javi Martinez and Yaya Toure, although the latter's not much of a defensive midfielder in the traditional sense. Yet to see a team dismantle Spain the way Brazil did in the Confed final and now Neymar's proving he can do it against the big guns like Real Murcia and Valladolid while Messi's off taking more steroids
I also kind of want to put Gareth at #1 but he didn't actually win anything worth winning. Except a shit ton of money and a reason to not live in Essex any more.

Terry has been just as good as both of them this season but due to Arsenal being top of the league and their general top form more has been made of Kos and Mert, especially the latter. When up against the best strike force in the league Kos and Mert shipped six. City managed one against Terry at the back. There are a few eyebrow raising names there, especially Courtois. But you could make a case for all of them so I have no issue with that list. It's funny that the one Chelsea player you question is the most deserving of being there. Conceded 9 goals in the league so far (chelsea conceded double that) and only 31 in the whole of last season. By the way is your point about us managing to score one a legit point? Like really? You honestly think playing us home and playing us away can be compared? Fucking hell lad. By the way Terry/Cech conceded 3 against Sunderland and Stoke lmao.

Come on Maskya Yoshida don't make out like it's a ridiculous statement. I could go into detail about how Cech has outperformed Neuer on both occasions their respective sides have met but I don't feel it's necessary and I'd rather not derail the thread. Let's leave it there. So former Bradford City goalkeeper Matt Duke is better than Szceszny

I can't believe anyone could think Cech is even the best keeper in the prem let alone the world.

Courtois is an odd one, very much a hipster choice from me, but he won La Liga keeper of the year, conceded the fewest goals and I'm aware of the massive amount of hype around him and plaudits he's received.
