Share the most deplorable Facebook status' you have seen, declaring how 2014 is going to be their year and such.
Might as well talk about resolutions we aren't going to keep too.
I'm going for the clichéd eat healthier and exercise more.

The people moaning about said status's and the spamming of that one Downey Jr picture over and over is far more annoying than the actual status's.

^ Ahahaha amazing
Want to try and make sure I make a proper nice dinner at least once a week. Tend to eat frozen foods and takeaways way too much, made a proper effort for Christmas Day and it was lovely so wanna make it a weekly thing. Especially roasties. So that's my New Year's resolution. More roasties.

My resolution is nothing special, just to make more home cooked food rather than takeaways on a regular basis.

"I look so good, WITHOUT YOU." is really annoying me today but that's just Facebook chatter and not New Year specific...otherwise my feed is gloriously clear of the dregs.
As for me, I too am looking to get less takeaway this year and I am also looking to cut back on the drinking a bit. Not a lot, mind, but a bit.

Guy who lives near me: "Lost this beautifully wonderful girl last night ! Because I'm a wanker when I'm drunk I'm sorry Jessie !! I love you <3" along with a picture of his (ex) girlfriend. Never did understand those drunk excuses people use.

My New Years Resolution was to stop swearing...I ended up telling my girlfriend to fuck off like 45 minutes later.

Not directly aimed at this thread but I always, always, see more people criticising the amount of people posting "new year, new me" stuff than actually saying it.
My plan is to become as close to fluent in French as possible (can vaguely speak it) and read 2 new books a month. Preferably classics.

Is it really bad that I just got that you were making an Irishman potato connection? Unless you weren't, in which case, I'm clearly oversensitive. Let me know if you need any starters.
