Is the witcher 2 only on xbox? The first one intrigued me when it was first announced but I never got round to playing either. Picked up max Payne 3 for a fiver yesterday, expecting good things from it.

There's some great offers on Deal Of The Week on the 360 right now, if anyone is interested. Dark Souls - $4.99/£3.74 Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara - £3.29 Tales of Vesperia - £6.59 Final Fantasy XIII-2 - £4.94 The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - 4.94 Call of Duty: Ghosts - £33.49 Witcher 2 I'm in the middle of playing right now, and is generally held to be a quality RPG. Also Tales Of Vesperia, which I tried to buy once only to be told they couldn't find the disc (a likely story, given how rare and valuable it is/was), is supposed to be a pretty good Japanese RPG. Witcher and Dark Souls for a tenner is a great deal tbh.

Buy a car, drive round the track faster than the other cars. Rinse. Repeat.
That's literally it. So boring.

Not enough offline good multiplayer games these days. With 4 brothers (including myself), it's hard to find a game that's easily enjoyable.
Or i'm not looking hard enough, would appreciate some suggestions.

But there's so many cars! And what are all these licenses about? I had no idea what I was doing with the B-spec thing. Ordering someone else how to race? What the fuck is that all about?
Every time I race I nearly slow to a halt at turns because there's no other way for me to get round it without totalling my car or ending up on the grass/sand.

Licenses are the best bit for me, challenges from the very first GT that eventually teach you the basics of how to suceed at the game. Don't worry with B-spec it's boring as shite. Earns you money and cars but it's best used as a background noise when you're busy doing something else. Licenses should teach you how best to take corners. There's an absolute plethora of settings you can edit to change the handling of each cars but it's really not worth it unless you're treating the game as a serious simulator.

Started playing bioshock as well, that and bioshock 2 were only £3.74 each on xbox last week, bargain from what I've played so far.

I got a copy of Bioshock 2 from CEX a few months ago for £3.50 after skipping it when it was first around. Absolute steal that was.

How on earth do you get the golds though? I think I got lucky with a couple of them and I've got silvers but the golds seem impossible. Why are there so many to choose from? I'm assuming the cars with the lowest weight and highest amount of horsepower are the best? Light on the turn and fast on the straight. I have no idea if that logic makes any sense, mind. I bought a Mazda for a few thousand credits and it was absolutely useless. Top speed was like 60mph and it took an age to get to that speed. I managed to finish 6th a couple of times but I found myself constantly restarting because I was in 8th by a country mile. I've managed to buy a used Honda CRX del Sol '90 (or something) and it's performing much better, which begs the question: what's the difference between the used cars and the new ones? And how much of a difference does this difference make? Never really had driving games even though I quite enjoy them, so that's why I'm a complete noob, haha. I have Burnout but that's hardly about driving, haha.

Exonerator With a controller, it's probably nigh-on impossible. So many to choose from because that's part of the attraction of the game. Really is no straightforward way of saying high bhp, low weight, rwd or whatever is best because each car handles uniquely. Best bet is using the recommended cars feature for each class and picking one of them. Make sure you modify it so that it's right on the pp limit for each class and you should walk each race tbh. Is this GT5 or GT6? If it's 6 then do some of the seasonal or red bull events before going into the proper license races because they give you a fair wad of cash allowing you to modify the car easily.
