Simple. Sign a player from your rival team. Rooney is obviously their best player but we really need a centreback so I'd have to steal one of them. The clear choice should be Vidic and if he's guaranteed to be fit every day of the week then I'd take him hands down but he's aging and hasn't shown he's at his best yet imo so I'd plan for the future and take either Phil Jones or Johnny Evans to play alongside Vince. Probably Jones. Januzaj is also a future world-class player but wouldn't get in our team just yet to justify it over Jones. I also considered De Gea and Rafael but Zabaleta has enough years left in him and I believe Hart is just going through some bad form. I dunno who you pick as your rival if you're Chelsea. Or why you'd sign anyone from Portsmouth if you're Stu. If you've gotta one of those teams then just pick a player from the teams around you

Cabaye even though I can't stand the cunt. Any of their first choice 10 outfield players would do tbh.

Seamus Coleman. We need a solid defensively, solid offensively right back which Johnson fails to offer any more. Thought about Baines too but at least I expect less from Enrique and if we had a squad I fully liked, id have no one to blame for losing.

With the Blades struggling a division below us the pickings for this particular exercise are a little slim.
That said, in order to play along I am almost certainly choosing between Harry Maguire and Jose Baxter since they are at least youngsters with some promise. I'd probably go with Maguire simply because of our shortage of options at centerback and because of his aerial prowess.

Scored twice vs bottom of the league so he's the next Ronaldo m8
No one from the Skates.
From a league rival I'd probably go for.... Tim Krul from Newcastle.
Boruc can go back up and we can get rid of Gazzaniga.

Who does our rival team count as?

Shildon
Regardless of our squad being 90% attacking midfielders and the questionable offside-ness of his eyes, we'd have to take Ozil. Our problem positions; full back, holding midfield, goalscorer, are largely Arsenal's problem positions too.

This is easy. Our weakest position is left back. Everton's best player is their left back.
Oviedo.

Callum McManaman, more because he'd have some good sell on value than that he'd be a vital component to our team.

Sam Clucas from the scabs. Their only technically sound player.

any of them would do get the impression van dijk is their best player and we haven't had a good centre back in 3 years. maybe Forster because of his re-sale value

From City, it would be Yaya Toure or Navas. We play a winger game so Navas as a more traditional winger would do great from Rooney's crossfield balls, better than Valencia anyway. And Toure would improve any team but particularly this United team who are obviously short in midfield.

hard to choose but it would probably be ramsey considering the system tim is playing atm
mert or kos maybe due to long term injures at the back and the dawson/chirches partnership looking dodgy at times
