Steve Bruce has a big head lalalala...
Seriously no idea how this is going to fare, we never beat Hull yet I can't help but feel a squirt of optimism after the way we played at the end of the Villa game (yep 10 minutes of reasonably positive football is definitely enough to encourage an otherwise hopelessly negative Toon fan..)
can see this being a dull 0-0 or 1-0 with a random bit of class from someone deciding the game.
edit: ahhh the Brazil away kit...we'll win

Unbelievable double save from Krul about 10 seconds before our pretty decent goal. We look dangerous going forward today. Actually getting support to Remy this week

Pretty much the perfect example of taking your chances and making no silly errors

Lucky as fuck to go in 2-0 at the break, Remy's composure to take it round McGregor for his goal was damn delicious to see though. A smidgen of that sort of confidence in Cisse would see the player we all came to love return to form. I'm sure there's ways to pack confidence into the body without using cocaine or other illegitimate forms of 'improving performance'. Maybe an ice pack perma-strapped to his cranium or summit?
Still, could do with getting something into Cisse (and not what Pardew would have in mind...) as I can't see there being a chance of Remy staying beyond the summer, particularly if we don't get into Europe or don't have a deal in place already. This is Mike Ashley we're talking about so fat fucking chance of that being the case.
Fuck it, we're winning for once, 2-0, away from home, I've gotta stop moaning about shitty conspiracies designed to piss off specifically the fans otherwise people will take us for a Liverpool supporter
edit: shit

i know Stoke have struggled to shake off the hoofball rugby team image that they have but they've totally outplayed and outfootballed Arsenal today

#FreeBTS In terms of all round play, maybe, in terms of sheer natural finishing ability (i.e 'instinctive' strikes) the Cisse at the beginning of his Toon career looked more dangerous than Remy has so far. Everytime he decided to go for goal it seemed destined to go in. Obviously on hindsight this may have been a fleeting surge of form that, other than providing several moments of awe-striking 'what the flying....how did he.... the fuckery', only disguised the massive flaws in his game (i.e the inability to stay onside ever or control a ball that's not running along the turf). I wouldn't say he's nowhere near Remy's level, in a specific role and given a specific task with specific players around him, he's proven himself more than effective. Unfortunately there's no way he'll ever fit in a Pardew team because Pardew has proven he has no time for players seen to be relying on the service of others (Ben Arfa, Marveaux etc) even if combined they can work pretty damn effectively. But aye, MOUSSSSAAAAAAAA
