Chelsea’s form this year has been nothing short of …. Wait…. A slip for Chelsea at villa last week , combined with wins for the rest of the title contenders, has blown the title race wide open – with Liverpool and City fans more than fancying their chances. Arsenal fans never fancy their chances though, and remain pessimistic. Coming off the back of a North London derby win though a previously stagnant of late arsenal are on a high, a big result here and they could just be dark horses, a loss and it seems they will settle for top 4 for another year. Jose will find a way to piss off Gianni Infantino – it’s as if he raped his mother in front of him.
That brings us to Liverpool’s journey to struggling Cardiff. Its looking bleak for Ole and his boys, they succumbed to a late defeat at Everton last week. With time running out, they probably couldn’t face Liverpool at a worse time who are coming off the back of a stunning 3-0 win at Old Trafford. Expect a win for Liverpool here, keeping their momentum going before they host Chelsea and City – and all but sealing Cardiff’s fate.
Everton will more than fancy 5th with United and Tottenham Struggling. Swansea have become shit this season yet are just about safe – making this game pretty uninspiring. So expect a 5-4 classic, probably in Everton’s favour.
Hull v WBA seems even more uninspiring. But West Brom still have work to do and will look to build on finally winning under Pepe Mel last week at Swansea. Hull are only two points ahead of west brom yet here I was assuming they were safe. This is quite an important game after all.
Seemingly straightforward weekend for city before they go to old Trafford on Tuesday – where they should probably score 7 again. Good chance they’ll absolutely rinse Fulham, who look just about impossible to finish below this season.
Sunderland though could still do exactly that. Their struggling of late since the early success under Poyet. ‘we’re doomed’ in the words of sween. They travel to Norwich this week who aren’t out of trouble yet themselves. We don’t have any canaries on here but im sure, due to their run in, theres a few who believe they are also doomed.
Newcastles season, bar a battle for top 8 with Southampton, is all but over. Under different circumstances last weeks draw with Fulham could have proved disastrous. Crystal Palace though are hovering just above the relegation zone and will be keen to deny us all the dream of Tony Pulis being relegated.
West ham host Man united in the Saturday evening game. Despite playing worse football than stoke, they find themselves just about safe. Andy Carroll will be keen to prove he is better than Rickie Lambert , Benteke, and now Sam Gallagher – according to Stu. Was really looking forward to mocking a horrible weak for united, but they are somehow still a top 8 champions league team. They still remain 7th though, and will hopefully fail to build on another of the few big wins moyes has had. Because it still isn’t getting any less funny.
Southampton travel to Tottenham. Stu will be confident. Tim ‘that builder’ Sherwood will upset Brian/ joe. Bentaleb will play. ‘We’re gonna get pumped’ - Heung-Min Pleat, ten minutes from now.
Aston Villa v Stoke shouldn’t be on tv.
