Know we had this discussion back on the old forum but I've just spent the last half an hour watching videos of Maldini and thus this thread Mine would be Yashin Cafu - Beckenbauer - Nesta - Maldini Zidane - Xavi Maradona - - - - - - C.Ronaldo Messi Ronaldo No space for Pele. Considered Nedved on the left and C.Ron on the the right for a wider midfield with Maradona and Messi up top. Almost put Thiago Silva in at CB ahead of Nesta.

Schwarzer Cooper Pearson Southgate Hignett Merson Juninho Boateng Downing Ravenelli Boksic Clubs best 11 is more interesting than this old argument. Only picked players Ive seen at the club as otherwise I'd have to go on stories of Maddren, Mannion etc. ChappyHova I feel bad for no Quedrue.

Wouldn't the dream Boro XI just be 11 Juninhos?

He'd be chipped every game.
Plus his corners never beat the first man so I need at least one person who can take them.

I'm gonna follow what Maski did and do a club XI, bit of variation then. Clemence Neal - Hansen - Yeates - Kennedy Thompson - Gerrard - Hughes Dalglish - Barnes Rush Changed it to 4-3-2-1, missed a couple of world class players out. It works. For players I've seen myself though. Reina Johnson - Carragher - Hyypia - Aurelio Alonso - Hamann Suarez - Gerrard - Torres Fowler Full backs are difficult because we've never really been blessed. Just wish Aurelio's knees were real.

Funny to think that of the 4 defenders that ange postecoslamp and Heung-Min Pleat chose as the best ever, 3 of them were in Milan's starting XI against Liverpool in the CL final. That team was scarily good.
