I didn't see enough of him, or rather, remember much of him.

Best Hull side that i've seen.. Myhill Davies Turner Chester Elmohamady Dawson Koren Ashbee Barmby Windass Elliott Honourable mentions to Ricketts, Brady, F.Campbell and Garcia. Huddlestone and Aluko would have to be said too considering most this side played in leagues outside the Premiership but yeah.
Errr where's McShane?! Travesty

It depends which persona of his we'd be using, one of them is a good quality centre half and the other is a ticking timebomb it really is bizarre.

Only ever saw Ginola once for us, was against Leicester in 98 or 99. I was about 6 and had no idea if he was actually any good but he was the only Spurs player who's name I knew and was therefore the best.
To be honest I doubt I could name many who might have played for us in that game even now, I imagine Anderton had injured himself and it was even pre-Ledley. Fuck, that makes me feel old.

i've just checked and both Our Lord and Saviour Timothy Sherwood and Steffen Freund were in our lineup that day. Ledley was a fresh faced kid on the bench with a full contingent of knees and 1 Spurs appearance to his name and sicknote was indeed injured
Steffen Iversen got both our goals, apparently.
e: Spurs (4-4-2):- Walker; Carr, Perry, Young (sub Vega, 72), Taricco; Leonhardsen, Freund, Sherwood (capt.), Ginola (sub Nielsen, 70); Armstrong, Iversen
team of champions there. no wonder we came 11th

You've made me want to check my first ever game now, Newcastle 2-1 Derby in October 1998. Just realised that Shearer didn't score both our goals as I've erroneously remembered for the last 16 years. Instead the titans of Stephen Glass and Nikos Dabizas got the goals. In fact Dabizas is forever a hero, so don't want to be too sarcastic about him. Given; Griffin, Charvet, Dabizas, Pearce; Solano, Batty, Lee; Dalglish, Shearer Not actually as bad as I was expecting, Paul Dalglish aside.

my first game was Saints 2-2 Newcastle in 1997
Maik Taylor - Richard Dryden, Ken Monkou, Matthew Robinson, Ulrich van Gobbel - Eyal Berkovic, Matthew Le Tissier, Neil Maddison, Jim Magilton, Matt Oakley, Egil Östenstad
Shaka Hislop - Warren Barton, John Beresford, Robbie Elliott, Darren Peacock - David Batty, Lee Clark, Keith Gillespie - Peter Beardsley, Les Ferdinand, Alan Shearer
Saints scored in 89th and 90th minute to draw haha

cuellar was the best centre back I've seen , him over weir imo I probably agree that Cuellar was better than Weir. But i think Cuellar wouldn't have looked half as good if it wasn't for Weir. Weir made whoever played alongside him looked better than they were. Cuellar, Bougherra, Wilson etc. Playing over 200 games for us up until the age of 40.

yeah I agree tbf, bougherra was dodgy as fuck and needed someone like weir. it's the same with Mohsni now except he doesn't have a weir. hence why we're gonna get cunted against decent teams.

The best Rangers team that i have seen: Klos Ricksen Weir Amoruso Van Bronckhorst McCann Ferguson Arteta Albertz Jelavic R. de Boer Bench: McGregor, Hutton, Cuellar, Mendes, Aluko, Davis and Boyd
Probably missed a couple. Also only seen some of them play 1 or 2 seasons at Rangers. That would actually be a decent team. God I hated Stefan Klos. Was always so good against us until he came back from injury or something and Maloney scored that cracker, for a Celtic team that I've seen: Boruc Agathe Mjallby Boyd Izaguirre/Naylor for that one season he was fucking amazing Nakamura Petrov Wanyama Lubo Larsson Sutton Bench: Forster, McNamara, Van Dijk, Lambert, Maloney, Thompson, Hartson. That was so hard btw. I've probably missed someone really obvious but I'm too hungover for my brain to work properly today. That strike partnership makes me sad though. Will be lucky to ever see a player as good as Larsson play in Scotland again.
