Title race continues to be ridiculous with six points separating top four. A win for Chelsea will all but end United's title hopes this weekend. United bring Villa to Old Trafford for this midtable six pointer. A win for Villa will see them three places behind United. It's like 2009 again, except both the teams are utter shit now. Chelsea's form this year has been excellent, and I expect that to continue against Palace.
Southampton and Newcastle still have faint hopes of Europa League qualification, a win for either side will have big consequences for the other. Sort of. It's not that important a game and both sides are struggling of late. One team who aren't struggling are Hull. They're performing well above expectations and find themselves lying in 13th place in English Premier Division. Erm. They're at Stoke who have announced the most apt of sponsorship deals with Warrior™ recently. Well, they apparently play some attractive stuff now but we know that's a lie.
Swansea and Norwich. Six fingers everywhere. West Brom and Cardiff. Two struggling managers, one more bitter than the other when his team is beaten by title challengers, looking to stay in the league, both likely to go down. With Fulham.
Admittedly the late kick off is an absolute blockbuster with Arsenal hosting Man City. The last couple of weeks has been symbolic of a typical Arsenal march but this holds extra weight now. With the title out of their hands, Arsenal need to secure 4th with Everton snapping at their heels and with the Toffees still to play at Goodison, Arsenal need points from this. City will go three points behind if they win, still with two games in hand but the title looks firmly under their control. Can the Gunners do Chelsea and Liverpool (and United I suppose) a massive favour tomorrow evening?
Fulham and Everton has no major appeal really. Everton should walk all over them. But it will be a case of what could've been for Lewis Holtby. That's it really. Tottenham come to Anfield hoping to seek revenge for the drubbing they received at the hands of Liverpool earlier this season. Liverpool are well known this season for their phenomenal attack, but can their defence hold us against the might of Harry Kane and his understudies?
The Monday evening game is Sunderland hosting West Ham. Sunderland fought well in mid week and if you just completely ignore the league season, they've had a season many teams would be jealous of. As it is they're scrapping for their lives against a West Ham side who have been resurgent since the new year but still need to guard against being dragged into a relegation scrap.
