"He'll end up like Kevin Phillips."
If he's fucking lucky!

The pressure on him next season will be insane. He's scored 30 goals this season for club and country. He'll probably win PFA Player of the Year (Young Player a dead cert) and he's English.
The real challenge for him comes next season where teams will be more aware of him and whether he can adapt to their countermeasures against him as well as he will now be expected to perform to high standards.

I would have thought that Hazard would be favourite for Player of the Year.

If he was English he would be.

I thought he meant he'll win a player award not the POTY award, imo he'll probably win Player's Player and Young Player.
I am really quite nervous for next season, especially considering we never really saw how Bale was able to handle it fully. But part of me believes he'll cope, whilst he scores some lucky goals (like that first against Leicester), his awareness and positioning is fantastic for someone his age. The England goal summed that up, was in that back post position long before the ball came in, he knew exactly what he was doing and could read how the play was going to unfold.
Plus there have already been games where he's routinely had a couple players on him, WBA away comes to mind- and he still scored 2 and could have had a couple more. Be stupid if anyone was to expect another 30+ goal return, as that rarely happens for Spurs anyway, but hopefully a 15+ goal return and another player to go alongside Eriksen behind him (or one of Chadli/Lamela to step up finally) and Spurs fans would be happy.

Kanes nailed on for both, especially if he ends up winning the golden boot.

I just can't see how Kane is nailed on to win it, Hazard has been outstanding for the team winning the league. Kane wasn't even in people's teams of the year until a few weeks ago. Kane has had a fantastic few months but Sanchez, Costa, Fabregas and Aguero also had similar periods.
While it is such a likeable story to get behind, Hazard has just been better over the course of the season.

I'd give it to Hazard, Kane's been brilliant but Hazard has done it consistently all season. Kane didn't actually start a game until November.
I mean, De Gea >>>> but a goalie won't win it.

Kane's the top goalscorer in the league having not started until November? If anything a late start should help him given he's done more in less time.
