Absolutely loved Bratislava - lovely little old town with lots of unique little cafes and bars, cheap too.
Thought Vienna was shite.

Thoroughly recommend the Peak District on a sunny day - unreal views wherever you go but particularly from the top of Mam Tor. My calves aren't half feeling it now though.

You can spend days just walking up and down the strip going into the casinos and seeing the different bars and stuff. We drove to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam one day but wouldn't bother again. It's a busy place during the week then gets 10x busier and 5x more expensive on the weekend. As luck had it we went to a show in an off-strip casino on the Saturday night and it was a lot quieter and after the show we found an all you can drink for $30 bar.

Any of you got longer birth names than you typically use and booked a flight using the shorter version?
My mate’s name is Chris and I’ve checked our flights to Portugal in using that name rather than Christopher which is on his passport and dunno if he’s gonna be refused boarding now. Like logically it’s obvious that it’s the same person but it’s also Ryanair who I imagine would want that £100 for a name change.

Had it twice for Ben from Benjamin, once with BA who changed it for free as we spotted it straight after we booked and once with Ryanair where we didn’t change it and it wasn’t a problem. I’ve heard stories of it causing an issue but don’t think it’s a common thing

I didn’t realise until after our holiday but I’d put my mam down as Mr instead of Mrs 😂😂
No one said anything.

My mate flew in and out of Ukraine with a typo in his name on his passport! Only noticed on the flight home when someone was slagging off his photo.

Haha my mate's name is also spelled wrong on his passport so when we were booking our flights for Outlook I had to check him in as 'Camrone'

Totally subjective but which airlines in the US are decent and which are absolute dogshit? Going to Michigan next yr with the fam and would rather not end up with the American ryanair

Internal US flights of the transatlantic leg? Have only used BA and Delta for going to the US and both much the same and didn't have any problems. I do like the look of the flights from Dublin where you pass through US immigration in Dublin airport then land in the US as a domestic flight. Can save hours depending on what airport you're landing into the US in. Or the ones that go via Iceland and you can add a night of two there to break up the journey.
tl;dr no idea

Southwest is the US budget airline as far as I remember. Never flown them.
Delta and United have some horror stories on their domestic flights but every time I’ve flown them it’s been grand

Might have to look in to flying via Dublin, could be a shout.
I'll only be flying transatlantic and pretty much every company has Delta via CDG/Schiphol for cheap as fuck. As long as they don't want me to pay extra for boarding passes and have charity collections on each flight it'll be sound
