Pretty simple thread idea, what are your top 10 songs? Had to limit myself to one song per artist or the list would have been dominated by Bowie - Fleetwood Mac - The Chain - The bass line/ending is probably my favourite section of music ever, being the F1 theme tune helps as well. I could have put half of Rumours on this list though, such an incredible album.
- Binary Star - Reality Check - Apart from killing SNC, the other thing plug has done is made me listen to a lot more rap. This was the best song that I heard on there, I think it was Lukas who played it. Great stuff.
- The Beatles - Something - An absolute masterpiece, proof that George Harrison was by far the best Beatle. McCartney covering this was probably the best time i've ever had at a concert.
- Kanye West - Diamonds From Sierra Leone - Love the use of Diamonds are Forever in this, I think this was the song that made me realise what a amazing producer Kanye is. It was hard to choose between this and Runaway though.
I'll probably change my mind on half of them by tomorrow anyway.

Not in any order and tough enough to narrow it down. Probably changed since the last time I did something like this too; 1. Foo Fighters - Learn To FlyFirst Foo Fighters song, remember listening to it with my dad and sister and both loving the video and the song being stuck in our heads. 2. Foo Fighters - EverlongJust misses out on my favourite song by them 3. Foo Fighters - My HeroMy ultimate sing-a-long song. 4. Avicii - SilhouettesLoved it before it got vocals, loved it after it got vocals, sealed it's place as my favourite Avicii song when it was the first song we heard in our first Ibiza nightclub on our first holiday abroad together. One of those that always provokes good memories. 5. Axwell, Ingrosso, Angello, Laidback Luke - Leave The World BehindFirst song I can remember that made me aware of the SHM trio (after LGIG posted my next choice back on Neo for the first time) and it's still an absolute classic. 6. Swedish House Mafia - One (Fuck Off Pharell)The beginning of the past couple of years of my musical taste. 7. Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry ChildTheir last song. I'm in the video (along with 64'999 others), was there when it debuted, again another moment that provokes good memories. 8. Axwell - Nothing But LoveEasily my favourite Axwell song. 9. Arty - KateEasily my favourite Arty song. 10. BT - SkylarkingHorsehead memories. Notable mentions to the usual's of Wonderwall, Angels, as well as deadmau5 - Ghosts n' Stuff (Drives to uni), Alesso - Sweet Escape (One of the best drops ever), Alesso - City Of Dreams (Some of my favourite vocals) and Avicii - Levels (Gf's favourite ever song, was mine until it was played to death).

No particular order and I'm not even cemented on these.
Frank Ocean - Fool's Gold Not a very well known song because it was an exclusive download but it's a damn exceptional song and highlights how good a vocalist Frank Ocean actually is.
Fleetwood Mac - Seven Wonders Stevie Nicks has one of the best voices of all time and it's well on show here. Live versions are a bit sketchy because she and Buckingham were off their absolute faces in the era this came out in but the album version is great.
Chris Brown - Forever I've never made it a secret how much Ive always enjoyed Chris Brown. Not for any deep lyrical content more so because it's easy to listen and sing along to and even now whenever I hear the first few seconds of the beat it makes me happy.
Eric B & Rakim - I Ain't No Joke Best known song of probably the best rap/production duo of the early golden age of hip hop. Everything down to the beat which is so simple yet so great down to Rakim just having a talent for rapping that not many can replicate.
Dr Dre - Fuck Wit Dre Day There are a lot of songs from The Chronic worthy of many top 10s but it's this for me pretty much for the beat alone.
Luther Vandross - Never Too Much One of the happiest songs you're ever going to hear and it's picked me up from many a bad mood. Luther just had that knack of conveying emotions so well in his singing and although I think Dance With My Father is the better song, I prefer this for the positive feeling it gives.
Damien Rice - I Remember The golden years of Damien Rice with Lisa Hannigan produced some great songs and this one from the calmness of Hannigan before the change in tone and style once Rice comes in halfway through was one of the best.
Childish Gambino - Flight of the Navigator This is partly down to the fact I always used to listen to this album during my frequent trips to and from Spain and this song really grew on me. No rapping, just predominantly Bino's falsetto and his surprisingly good ability with it. Really calm and easy to listen to.
Eminem - Mockingbird This is here because it was probably the first song I fully learned the lyrics to at least in terms of hip hop and I always loved the last few lines, so aggressive in context of the rest of the song. As always lyrically great, great storytelling and a solid beat to go with it.
Kanye West - All of the Lights Of course I was gonna include him. Now let's precursor this with the interlude just before it as it appears on the album and forget that Fergie and her fucking pointless 'verse' exist. The beat is fucking amazing and even though Kanye has never been lyrically great and that continues here, the sheer amount of people involved in this who agreed to it just for even a few seconds of the song. La Roux is there, Alicia Keys is, Elton John has one line repeated a few times. And it all works. It shouldn't but it really does. And Cudi of course who could've had about 5 songs on this list.

FFS, you maniac. This is hard. I got down to about a short-list of 30 without including any hip-hop songs (I can't in my mind arrest the difference seeing as that's my favourite genre of music so if I can cobble a list together, fuck you, I'm doing a separate 10 of those) I've now had to copy my post into word and try to work out a list of 10. Thanks!

I ended up cheating with honourable mentions getting them mostly in. Sorry (I'm only picking one song per artist/band) 1- Baby Come On - Plus 44 2- Thunder Road - Bruce Springsteen 3- Iris - Goo Goo Dolls 4- Everlong - Foo Fighters 5- Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones 6- Don't Look Back In Anger - Oasis 7- Baba O'Riley - The Who 8- Red Vines - Aimee Mann 9- Angeles - Elliot Smith 10- 3AM - Matchbox 20 Honourable mentions: Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd), Alison (Costello), Layla (Clapton), She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5), Time For Heroes (Libertines), Swing Life Away (Rise Against), Free Fallin (Tom Petty), When Doves Cry (Prince), My Heart (Paramore), Ziggy Stardust (Bowie), Mr Brightside (Killers) plus several other Oasis, Verve, Springsteen Goo Goo Dolls & RHCP's songs. ALSO *any Taylor Swift songs* they're all about the same but I'm also unashamedly a big fan of them all. And a rap one (again only 1 song per artist) 1- Nuthin But A G Thang - Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg 2- Diamonds (from Sierra Leone) - Kanye West 3- Where I'm From - The Game 4- Brooklyn's Finest - Jay Z & BIG 5- In Da Club - 50 Cent 6- The Message - Nas 7- C.R.E.A.M - Wu-Tang Clan 8- Like Toy Soldiers - Eminem 9- Twinz '98 - Big Pun & Fat Joe 10- Gin 'N Juice - Snoop Dogg Tried to represent all the artsits I liked so could've included loads of their other songs on here too. Couldn't fit Kendrick or Tupac in - mAAd City would be 11th, Hit Em Up 12th.
