There are actually genuine reasons to vote to leave but sadly they're being ignored because the way to win is to tap into the xenophobia that's been built up in this country full of little islanders for decades and tell them it's not the successive government that's screwed you over it's that bloke with a different skin colour to you and a bit of an accent.
Fucking Farage, Gove, Johnson, Grayling, Duncan Smith, Patel, Galloway, Whittingdale. Why the fuck would you side with them?
Getting fed up of seeing and hearing old cunts banging on about how Britain used to be Great but offer no actual examples of how that was.
Couple of spackers my age are on about voting leave because they genuinely believe immigration is the reason they can't get a council house rather than the fact none are being built and we should be helping the homeless people first rather than johnny foreigner who is greeted at Dover with a blank cheque and the keys to a terraced 2 bed.

But no, I'll be voting to remain. Hopefully in a reformed Europe.
It worries me that as a nation we aren't even close to being educated enough to make such a decision though. And that's no dig at levels of intellect, just on how both campaigns are being run.

I would rather stick my knob in a pencil sharpener than agree with Boris Johnson on anything
Has anyone else applied for a postal vote? Should I have had that by now?

You should have to pass an entrance test at the polling station to be allowed to vote.

Thing is, the xenophobic vote doesn't even make sense because if we want to trade with the EU, whether we're a member or not, we have to accept freedom of movement.

And that's no dig at levels of intellect, just on how both campaigns are being run. It is very much in the interests of the current government and large parts of the media (Murdoch et al) to keep the public as uninformed as possible so I don't expect that to change any time soon. New Labour invented modern spin as we know it so it's not even like I can hold them up as an example.

Thing is, the xenophobic vote doesn't even make sense because if we want to trade with the EU, whether we're a member or not, we have to accept freedom of movement. I think the angle Gove and Johnson laid out in their plan was not accepting complete free movement. The consequence of that is being out of the single market for services (around 80% of the UK economy) which is something like what Switzerland has. They also have decades worth of bespoke trade deals between themselves and the EU. The funny thing about the points based immigration system that's meant to be the saviour of the country is that it's already in place for nationals outside the EU and they account for over half of net migration to the UK currently.

Know a few people from back home voting out cos people can't get council houses in Horwich because of the foreigns. The town is 97% white British wtf are you even on about.
The government issued leaflet was a pile of shite, I was looking for some convincing to leave but none of the leave propaganda had any citations. There's a bloke in town who just yells at traffic and he's just as reliable imo.
Main reason I'm voting to stay is because German and Belgian beer is better and I'd rather not have to pay more.

Main reason I'd rather stay in from a selfish point of view is that I like cheap holidays to Spain.
But yeah there is literally no credible argument put forward by the leave campaign other than "of course they'll want to trade with us it's common sense", aye that's not quite how trade deals work lads.

The issue with these referenda is that people start quoting numbers and economical issues and nobody actually knows what will happen with those things it's all scaremongering. The real driving reason to vote is what kind of country do you want the UK to be? These things are idealogical, just like the Scottish referendum.
Obviously that gets lost in the economy and immigrant chat
