But not about those Paul brother cunts or KSI's dickhead younger brother. It is starting to become more and more of a daily routine, at least with the younger generation (fuck me I'm starting to feel old), that they forego traditional TV and spend their time watching YouTubers instead.
Similar to the podcast thread, that I used primarily for recommendations and it's likely this thread will serve the same purpose, but I will throw a few bits out there.
Subscribed to a fair few channels, some of which put out consistently brilliant content, some which put out the odd gem, some which I don't really know why I'm still following.
In terms of sport, Arsenal is the obvious one, but Copa 90 is a great follow. Started following when they did the Eurofan trips with comedian Tom Deacon, travel to a CL game, blag his way into the ground and film what to do along with a bit of history. Would suggest going back and watching some as they were very good. They've gone a bit pants since by relying too much on that Poet berk but they do sometimes put out some good videos.
Not sure if it's slash football but there was also some European football trips with True Geordie in and they were great too.
Started watching Nightscape videos way back when, his production was immense and the whole free-climbing crane-hanging thing was just can't-watch-but-can't-look-away. He seems to have started to push the other YouTubers I watch into using ridiculously good drone footage and production of their videos. From there I've ended up following RyanTaylorBMX and AllyLaw who exploded over the last 6 months for a series of "overnight challenges" where they try and sneak in somewhere before it closes and then stay in overnight. They've done swimming pools, trampoline parks, ski slopes. I feel bad for the guards they fob off and it causes a colossal waste of police time. But it's still fun to watch.
Exposed: UK Dash Cams because they have a weekly compilation of dashcam crashes and shit driving. And the comments section are usually fun of people being called out.
idubbztv, mainly because of the Ricegum evisceration but his bad unboxing videos are good too.
Orion may or may not shoot me down for this but Londonist too, although a lot of it is recycled now. Geoff Marshall's whole "Secrets of the underground" series was and still is a guilty pleasure.
