He’s earned not being questioned but I find Pep’s usage of Foden really puzzling

Here’s a bit of a trivia question.
Not in the match days squads but in their registered squads, there are two champions league winners in the United and Tranmere combined squads. Name them.

And Darren Potter is the other. That wraps up this year’s edition of ‘look how far United have fallen’.

Dead annoyed at the senior players in that game anyway. The ridiculousness of the FA cup’s semi adoption of VAR exemplified by a wrongfully given pen that would’ve been overturned if we were at home.
That said, Larouci would also have been sent off.
But again, not one senior player who started (bar Adrian) can be happy with themselves after that. Pitiful.

First thing Klopp has got wrong in a long while this. Not the game yesterday, the side was good enough to beat Shrewsbury, they just didn't perform. But the comments afterwards.
I can see his side. Only in England would you finally get a winter break, only to be told you've actually got a match in the middle of it, but there are ways around it. As someone who loves watching football, there is too much of it. Athletes are expected to play far too much of it, up and down the pyramid, but even more so at the top level when players are expected to play through most summers now, so I can understand the taking of a stance.
I'm not into the whole disrespecting the cup shite, it is what it is nowadays. But in this instance Liverpool should have handled it better. Klopp should take the team, the seniors can have their break and we could still put out a good enough team to beat them. There are plenty of players who need minutes and could still have a small break after the game. A squad something like:
Adrian, Williams, Matip, Lovren, Larouci, Chirivella, Jones, Keita, Shaqiri, Minamino, Origi. Subs: Kelleher, Hoever, van den Berg, Elliott and 3 other kids should have enough to beat Shrewsbury, while the other seniors get their much needed time off.
The League Cup couldn't have been helped, but it looks like we could essentially knock ourselves out of both cup competitions now!

Fair play.
It's a catch 22 for me - I don't agree with his stance but at the same time, the FA are taking the piss going against the Premier League's winter break offer.

The worst thing about the FA Cup is Spurs charging us £25 for the replay when we only charged them a tenner at St Marys. Thieving cunts.
