The worst thing about the FA Cup is Spurs charging us £25 for the replay when we only charged them a tenner at St Marys. Thieving cunts. It's a fucking robbery, we did the same to Boro as well charged them £5 more than they did for the replay. The Club don't care because it'll sell out but it affects match going fans when next year no club wants to discount us for away games. £25 for home fans too when the first game against Boro was only a tenner as well. So many fans are outright saying they won't go out of protest but at this point Levy and ENIC probably want that to be the case as a tourist or day tripper is more likely to go in the shop and drop more money.

Have I gone completely mad or is there some kind of assumption going round that we owe Shrewsbury anything? All the talk is that we’re denying them money by playing a weakened team as if somehow our responsibility is to help them out financially.

Yeah the mental gymnastics to blame Klopp et al when the FA are the ones to restrict/bar broadcasting of the game is quite something. Liverpool giving their first team a rest gives Shrewsbury a fair crack at going through to the next round, after all. Even the Shrewsbury manager said after speaking to Klopp he can't fault his argument.

Shrewsbury coming out with "we're self-sustaining we need this money" to me suggests you should be able to survive without a bumper cup replay coming your way. Criticise Liverpool for their woeful underfunding of their womens team if you want a valid point to dig at them with.

Can we stop calling him the 'Shrewsbury manager' he's Sam 'perfectly adequate on either side of a back four' Ricketts with his almost 100 Premier League appearances?

The first half hour of this game has shown why there shouldn’t be such a kick off over it, some of these kids are seriously good at football. Curtis Jones is impressing me more and more every time he plays.

I’d agree if the whole basis of football wasn’t competition. They’re hardly a non-league club struggling to stay afloat. Just by getting the replay they’ve made extra money they would’ve have otherwise, and ultimately it’s down to the FA trying to enforce a worldwide broadcasting ban on the game that has hurt them the most.

Leaving Lamela out could come back to bite us tbh. Should be starting ahead of Moura if Son is up top

Why are Palace fans in twitter so happy about JWP getting injured? Is it cos Zaha tried to eye gouge him?

I can't see what we lose by bringing Parrott on here for Moura. He is utterly dreadful and this route one out of defence is getting unbelievably tiresome. Southampton haven't had to break a sweat.
