We were truly awful. The game was over for us the second Pulisic went off.
You can get by with terrible officiating if you have the fire power but atm for Chelsea it's Pulisic or bust.
The standard of officiating in this country is in the toilet. Every club suffers at the hands of these inept officials and it's criminal.
It's been an awful season, thank god it's over.

10% of all FA Cups won by Arsenal the last century, won 5 of the last 7 FA Cups.
We're a proper cup team.

Arsenal managing to get a trophy at the end of this season is very very funny.
Some shocking refereeing in that game, mind.[/djed]

I know lots of people are gonna be like "lol but how many have they won" but it's still an impressive achievement nevertheless. Wenger still not getting enough credit I don't think.

everything about that was shit, Chelsea were so so so shit and I’m not even pretending we were robbed or anything... but are we really calling that a pen? Fuck me like. Number one, it’s not a foul. Number two, if you think it’s a foul, initial contact is outside the box? But mostly... a hand on the shoulder isn’t a foul?
Not that it matters really coz fuck me that second half Chelsea should’ve been best by 5, that was shocking

If it continues in the box it’s a foul in the box, isn’t that the rule? I don’t think by any means it was stonewall or anything but his hands were all over Aubameyang, he’s more lucky he wasn’t sent off than anything else. Obviously the second yellow is daft but that’s exactly what VAR should be there for, at full speed I don’t even blame the referee that much.
Personally to me Lampard’s initial team and subs were so timid, like he bought far too much into solidity and experience than just playing his best players. Giroud held the ball up well and had so little support. When Pulisic goes off how do you put Pedro on over Hudson-Odoi?

His hands are all over Auba and he's pulling at him at full speed. It's soft but it's a penalty these days - David Luiz has given several of those kinds away this season.
And yeah as it carries on into the box it's a penalty - although I still think it should have been a red card as he definitely wasn't making an attempt to play the ball.
The second yellow for Kovacic was a joke, but he possibly could have been off before then when he chopped down I think Ceballos.

Clearly a bit of an unpopular opinion but I actually though Anthony Taylor didn’t have an awful game. I thought it was a red card on Azpilicueta and I can’t understand how he’s deemed that a deliberate attempt at the ball, but that’s by the by. The Kovacic 2nd yellow is very very soft and the fact it’s a second yellow draws attention to it, but it’s a foul and it’s a borderline yellow card for the lunge and if it’s not a second yellow I don’t think anyone would be that outraged.
Overall though I think they’re pretty much his only errors, which isn’t bad going.

I thought the only reason he didn’t send Azpilicueta off was cos he gave the pen, double jeopardy and all that.
I just don’t rate him as a ref at all.

Aye but that only applies if there's an attempt to play the ball, which is why Luiz was sent off Vs City. By Anthony Taylor
