Great stuff so far. Love the Bengals prioritising WR over OT, when it’s Burrow and Chase as well I love that.

Also, Travis Etienne is by all accounts a hell of a player but the Jags blowing a first round pick on a RB given they hit a home run with an undrafted rookie the previous season is very odd.

I'm also delighted that none of Waddle, Smith, Pitts, Chase, Horn or Surtain have ended up in the NFC East. Washington and Dallas taking LB shocked me tbh.

Honestly not sure about our pick, I know so little about the guy we drafted so will wait and see I guess. Was quite an exciting draft night overall, quite a lot of intrigue and surprise from 3 downwards. My mock draft went 4/32 so obviously didn’t quite nail it, we go again next year...

Boring Chargers pick but most mocks I read didn’t have Slater falling so far so got to be happy with that. Baffled by Denver, the draft couldn’t have played out more perfectly for them and they still didn’t take a QB. Hearing disturbing rumours about Surtain being included in some form of deal for Rodgers however.

I wouldn't be surprised at Denver trading for Rodgers but I would be surprised if Surtain is part of it, especially considering GB took Stokes. Slater is a great pick, him and Sewell are two elite prospects at OL, like you say probably a boring pick for most fans but you can't underestimate how good a slam dunk pick for the trenches is.

Agree with that, which is why I’m a bit surprised the Bengals took Ja’Marr Chase over Penei Sewell, think that was a bit flash over substance for me, although the LSU connection is obviously a great bonus. It’s not flashy at all but Sewell is one of the best left tackles coming out I’ve ever seen and Burrow needs an O line way more than he needed another weapon in the first, given the WR class is probably even deeper than the O linemen class.
Both great picks but I just think given Burrow going down again would end your season, Sewell was the pick for me.

Forgot the Jets traded two third round picks to take a guard as well lol. Them and the Jags getting their shiny new QBs but still can’t get out of their own way.

The Steelers’ selection might actually be the worst of the lot in hindsight.

They’re both horrific but at least the Steelers can sort of convince themselves they can keep in the game with their defence and play ball control (would just like to clarify I don’t agree in any way but just playing Devil’s advocate). The Jaguars are off a 1-15 season where they could literally use upgrades everywhere, and their best player last season was their undrafted RB. It’s beyond mindboggling what they’ve done, as bad as the Giants picking RB at 2 in 2018.

Trevor Lawrence is going to have to be as good as advertised to overcome his own team
