This may be revisionist but wasn't there talk back in January that Kane was past it, was in poor form and was struggling after so many injuries?
Its easier to see what a striker does well than it is a defender. As Dios has said, making those around him better is huge. If we're saying City still win the league without him, what do Spurs do without Kane?

I just think people are massively understating Dias just cos he went to Man City. Why is it so different to Liverpool spending £70m on VVD to join their backline that had already cost over £100m? It's not, it's just cool to hate on City atm.
Dias has been monstrous for City, he isn't as good of a player as Van Dijk yet and I'd say Van Dijk did have a bigger impact but it's not by loads, they're in the same ball park for impact. While City might have had a decent defensive record anyway, they always looked dodgy as fuck to me, they don't anymore(apart from last night without a true defensive midfielder).
fwiw I also think Kane should have got POTS.

Probably at best narrowly avoid relegation
There was a game around Jan/Feb vs Brighton that Kane missed, dunno if anyone on here saw it or remember it for whatever reason because it was shite but that Spurs team without Kane put in the worst performance you'll ever see from a top flight team, the Wigan team we beat 9-1 honestly had more about it
