Yeah but there's plenty of big personalities in that Arsenal team, World Cup and Champions League winners. Will they react to someone like Arteta coming in on the back of him putting cones and balls out for Guardiola at training?

Come on man how disingenuous is that? Mourinho literally got his start in management after doing the same for Robson and Van Gaal.

Can’t stand the bloke but Lampard’s not exactly doing badly either.
And Pep wasn’t exactly blessed with experience when he took the Barcelona job

Mourinho got his start in management with Benfica after he was brought up from assistant manager, he knew all the players and how they worked already and vice versa. Guardiola also worked his way up through the Barca coaching ranks where he was known already. Lampard had a management job with Derby already. Arteta hasn't played for Arsenal for 4 years so probably wouldn't be familar with the majority of the players coming from a coaching role at another club. Maybe I am being a harsh on him but considering the size of the club, the pressure of the fanbase and the way the board are, just feel it calls for a more experienced head. It's a huge role

It's a huge role Nah I agree that they need an experienced head there, and I also agree that they probably want someone who’s more familiar with the club. Just your logic was all I took issue with. For the most part though yeah. We’ve not really got any idea what Arteta is like as a manager. He’s only taken charge of one first team game and the likes of Vieira and Henry have shown in recent times that being a great player doesn’t translate necessarily to management, at least early on.

Arteta talking about coming home and former players all praising his appointment has me feeling all excited again.

I love the Dutch language. How can I understand every word in a sentence written in a language I don’t know at all?

I love the Dutch language. How can I understand every word in a sentence written in a language I don’t know at all? All you have to do is put on the accent and you’re half way there. Just ask Steve McClaren.

He's come across with an unbelievable arrogance too. I've got one of the best records, one of the most experienced, one of the best win ratios.

Watford are enjoying their new manager bounce, can't see them going down now tbh. Southampton will continue to pick up points as long as Ings is fit. Brighton and unfortunately fucking Burnley I just can't see going down. Really not looking good for West Ham and Villa.
