The scenes in George Square today are fucking horrible. These people have already completely lost what the whole referendum was about (they probably didn't have a clue to begin with anyway). Charging a crowd of yes voters having a peaceful gathering in George Square, sectarian singing, nazi salutes, chants about Bobby Sands. Scotland has been trying to move forward and then you get these idiots doing this, when Scotland is at the centre of the media. Fucking cretins. Rumours of them even burning Saltires, fuck sake.

I for one am delighted Trefusis point is now not going to be dug up for some Scottish nuke heads.
Downside is Cameron is still in power, he'd have been forced to resign if Scotland voted yes but we'll live with that.

The whole referendum isn't/wasn't a demonstration of his leadership. The no campaign was spearheaded by Alistair Darling. I think the real issue for Cameron would be his legacy - i.e: how he'd be remembered.
