why do you have issue with abbys character? why do you give a shit about it? its like the smallest detail in an incredible game and people are so bothered by it.. why?
would you have said anything if Jesse was huge, or Tommy, or any other male in the game?

I have no issue with the character but the model is silly and not believable. I know it's only a game but how could you look at the model and not think it's incredibly over the top? People value realism in games. If Jesse was a size that was not realistically achievable then yes I personally would think it would be ridiculous. If Tommy was jacked it would be even worse given he was in the first game and an established character. So yes, people would take issue with that. This isn't some sort of women hating thing which it appears you believe is my take here. It isn't.

she isnt even that big, i dont get the complaining at all
shes a soldier, shes basically been a machine for years waiting for her moment to get revenge, why wouldnt she be strong and built like a tank? that picture makes her look ridiculous but its hardly noticeable in the game.
and the whole ooo post apocalyptic world shite, they're literally growing veg and eating meat, fairly sure thats a decent diet if you want to get big.

A women wouldn't be able to achieve a physique like that without performance enhancing drugs as well as a strict diet and workout program. All things not accessible or possible in a post apocalyptic world. I know it's only a game and I feel a bit silly getting this deep into it but it's ridiculous. She's bigger than any man in the game. The idea behind it is that a women can be just as big and strong as their male counterparts and if you disagree well you must be some sort of bigot. That's Naughty Dog's mindset. They're very woke and you would have noticed that female characters have increased massively in comparison to the first game. There were zero women NPC enemies in the first game. Similarly minorities were non existent before. Whereas now there are several characters who would fall into a minority category. Trans, asian, lesbian, bisexual etc. It gives you an idea as to their beliefs around inclusion and social justice etc and why they would model Abby the way they did. are you literally smoking crack

Can we not just marvel at the fact we’ve gone from Lara Croft having cone tits to being able to look at a female video game character and think ‘those triceps are so well developed she clearly puts time in’ within the space of 25 years?

Just finished TLOU2, phenomenal game, not quite as good as the first one but the first one is my GOAT so didn't expect it to be really. Absolutely heartbreaking game, not sure any other game has messed with my emotions like TLOU1 & 2.

{Spoiler} {SPOILER} People are pissed that Joel is killed at the beginning of the game being beaten to death with a golf club by a character who has just been introduced that nobody cares for. I don't like main characters being killed off in games but if you do it then that character, Joel especially, should have gone out a hero protecting Ellie, Tommy or the people of Jackson. He deserved a death like Arthur Morgan in RDR2. So not only has the main character of the first game been killed in an awful manner you're then forced to spend the second part of the game playing as his killer. That's why so many are upset. It's not the game the fans wanted. Or even close to it. No one wanted a revenge mission.
People are also raising points like why is Abbie the size of prime Schwarzenegger. It's not an exaggeration. The scene in which she kills Jessie she is unrealistically massive. It's little things like that added to the main criticisms that have proven to make people dislike the overall product. It was a big let down and the user reviews back this up. {SPOILER}I think you're missing that this is Ellie's story. We got Joel's perspective in the previous game. This one was all about Ellie Why so much anger that Joel was killed by a newly introduced character? Pretty much any 'villain' they used for this game would have to be new, because we killed everyone else with Joel at the end of TLOU 1. Suggesting Joel should get a hero's death is just nonsense for the world Naughty Dog created with this game. Where would the motivation for her to do anything be in this theoretical world where Joel decides to bravely sacrifice himself? A hero's death would've been awful, because he wasn't a hero. Protect the people of Jackson? He could've done that by allowing for Ellie to be used for a vaccine. If you think he's a hero for saving Ellie then you missed the entirety of the first game where she repeats many times how she wants her life to mean something by giving people immunity. He didn't save Ellie for Ellie, he saved her for himself.
And that's why he needed to die for Ellie's story to continue in this game, so we can see how she deals with the consequences of Joels actions.
Yeah the second part forces you to play as Abby, and I was iffy on it at first, but having completed the game I'm happy they made that decision. Playing as Abby next to Ellie gives you the whole story, and makes this game absolutely incredible.
"No one wanted a revenge mission." Then what did they want? Because this game picks up exactly where the last one left off. It was never going to be Joel and Ellie living in wonderland. They made that clear at the end of TLOU when it finished on the cliffhanger of Joel lying to Ellie.
They made some risky decisions with this game, but I'm grateful they did because this is one of the best games I've played.
