Makes no difference, it's not in Madrids nature to do that regardless of who's playing, unless Mourinho is manager but that's probably why they didn't like him.

the vidic header looks better every time i see it and the welbeck miss looks worse from each passing angle
also i never noticed how poor fellaini can be off the ball (not that he was great on it mind), was never getting anywhere near the bayern attacks last night, as pleaty would say he was the classic rabbit in the headlights

So many times he got caught on the ball just being so slow and technically poor.

its funny because a year or so the popular phrase was about how fellaini is more than a target player, was technically/positionally on point aswell
all season i've been on a one man mission of laying off moyes/not writing him off so early but by the same ruling i cant bring myself to give fellaini the same justice

I noticed he wasn't even particularly great in the air last night either, Alaba beat him in the air once just through good timing.

Almost every game against a smaller team that we've played since he came back has played well. Crystal Palace, West Ham etc he gave us the steel to get good away wins. But he has been shocking against any team that passes the ball around a bit, so static and gets completely lost at times. So long story short, could be useful in the Premier League but out of his depth at the highest level. Just a bit expensive for a player with those limitations.
I did rate Fellaini before we signed him but the worrying thing is that I don't see the big improvement. I know Mata is going to understand the runs of the players around him more as he goes along but I don't see the big improvement from Fellaini apart from popping up with a few more goals.

Was it you Mycon who said to lee an eye out for Fellaini and how little he does? Looked out for it last night and there were times Bayern had the ball and he's just strolling around doing nothing. Not marking anyone, not closing off a passing option, not going to the man...he literally just sort of wanders about. I encourage everyone to watch him next time Utd are on telly. Even when Utd have the ball he just sort of sprints forward sometimes, majority of the team he looks like someone stuck in a retail job just covering ground on the shop floor to make it look like he's doing something.

Of course it is, but I just don't fancy Bayern to have the penetration if they go down a few goals to someone like Madrid. To be fair though, you wouldn't fancy any team to come back if they went a few goals down to this Madrid team, surely

I dunno if someone else said it but I know I mentioned my flatmate told me to do this and after I did, I posted something very similar to what you just said haha.

It's on the rise, even outside of PSG and Monaco it's getting massive investment. Turning into a moneybags league.

Is it? Cos Lyon, Marseilles and Bordeaux are all broke.
Expecting John Terry to come out and do a number on Cavani despite the fact Cameron Jerome pissed all over him on Sat.
