It's mad, I get that they're trying to protect WWE's intellectual property and don't want stars using Twitch/Cameo/OnlyFans using their WWE names - but likewise, it's that very engagement that has got so many of their current stars over. And if you class them all as independent workers for contract purposes, then you can't enforce this sort of thing on them without expecting a major pushback.

She was definitely sacked for the OnlyFans account, she only tweeted that unionization shit cos she already knew she was gone by then.
Can't really blame them for not wanting any of their roster on OnlyFans after the shit that happened with Paige lol, I know she was only selling her cosplay stuff on there, but thats where it all starts.
The twitch thing is a bit shit, but I'm fairly sure they can get around it by changing their accounts to be their actual name rather than profiting off their WWE name.

horrible reading what everyone thought of him, could tell he was an absolute class act outside of the ring
i loved him as Luke Harper, never saw any of his Brodie Lee stuff but he was an insane talent and a massive loss to the industry

Far too young, had seen he'd been off TV for a while but don't think anybody had any idea what was wrong.
He was always spoken about as the nicest person, you can see from all of the stories and comments that he was just universally liked. I think Big E's stories hit home the most.

I find it really weird how calmly Brodie's son is taking all of the shows and stuff in his stride - must be one tough cookie because I wouldn't be able to hold it together like that.
Credit where it's due too, Tony Khan put together a stunning tribute show.

streamable.com/n386mtI'm not sure they have much idea what they're doing but Randy Orton returning with a 'burnt' face to RKO Alexa Bliss who has transformed into a Fiend figure isn't where I saw them going in 2021.

If anyone is interested both series of 'Dark side of the ring' are available on All 4.
So if you have any form of smartphone or smart TV, console etc you can watch the lot.
The Benoit episodes as well as the Montreal screwjob are particular highlights.

The Bruiser Brody one is probably the best they've done, uncovered a fair bit of new info, really puts his wives story out there in a way I don't think it previously was and heavily features Tony Atlas who was the key witness to the whole thing. I think probably apart from Benoit its the most notable incident in pro wrestling history (in North America at least)
The new series has an episode about Jake Roberts backstory which will probably be a bit much for anyone who hasn't heard it and a Brian Pillman episode which for me will be similar to the Owen episode in the last series, another one of my all time favourites and another story wrapped in tragedy
I don't know if there are plans to do a Buck Zumhofe episode or not but that would almost certainly be too distasteful to air, thats the darkest side of pro wrestling

Not a bad Rumble show.
First time Iâve watched any WWE probably since Wrestlemania last year so a couple of the returns obviously werenât that big a deal for me, but there were still a couple of good ones in there. One in particular stood out for me but I wonât spoil it for anyone that hasnât seen it yet.
I think the Womenâs Rumble was better as a match but both were at least decent. Reigns/KO was a good match. And other matches also happened đ¤ˇđźââď¸
Iâve clocked why I prefer the presentation of the 2000 Rumble - having the entrance way behind the ring so you can still see the ring while people are entering. Surely they can do that at places that arenât Madison Square Garden as well?

Really hated the closing ending, tbh. Hope I do the spoiler tags right. Men's Rumble I just don't see the point of giving the win to a part-timer, who is pushing nearly 50 years old. Its an interesting to see on 'social media', people don't have much issue with him winning it, despite complaining established wrestler taking spots. Can't see him pulling anything great with Drew or Roman. Hardly any stories was created during the rumble as well. So it was just going through the motion while watching good spots. I never watch NXT but Damian Priest looks amazing.
I know they done this multiple times before, but people getting eliminated by non-participants really gets my goat, as well as by one who has been eliminated. Surely you just hire a group to do this on your behalf. lol.
Also, they need to stop doing this schtick where people they thought were eliminated comes back in the last minute.
Sigh. Maybe it's the mark in me, but badly wanted to watch an unexpected rising star win it....or Bryan. Women's Rumble On the other hand, the women's rumble was miles better.
Absolutely loved it seeing Rhea and Belair being the last two. Can tell Vince doesn't have much say in the Women's division. However, there were some weird moments that wasn't needed. Hope everyone's doing okay (haven't posted in all of 2020!)! Just wanted to get the above off my chest.

Nah agreed, it seems like such a short-sighted way to go given all of the people who could have won it.
Not a fan of some of the spots they tried to pull off too, OH LOOK NAOMI STAYED IN BY PULLING ON BIANCA'S HAIR ignoring the fact she spends a minute on her back with her legs in the air and therefore isn't classed as being out.

Womens rumble was better than the mans imo. The mens felt very average and not much interesting storytelling. Bryan/Riddles sequencing near the end was class though.
Edge did 3 impressive feats in one rumble: Number One Entrant 2x Winner First HoFâer to win

I was glad they didnât go with Orton though, even if Iâd rather someone other than Edge. Bryan wouldâve been good; Bryan/Reigns would be a story worth telling. Agree about Priest, he looked great. Some year theyâll go with an NXT prospect to win it. Kane looked awful - I get the nostalgia spots will always risk that but itâs different for someone whose character is built around being intimadating but he was just a fat guy in spandex.
Carlito clearly still on the juice, looked decent though.
Christian was a genuine surprise and I enjoyed his contribution. Womenâs Rumble was just more varied and had more interesting sub-plots. Even things like Billie Kay, just added something different. Bianca Belair is fantastic, Rhea Ripley too. Nia Jax looks so dangerous, and not in a character sense, in a âIâm genuinely worried youâre going to kill someoneâ way.
