Do you get people like that in Ireland aswell then? You've always seemed so more united compared to us lol No you'd get a clip around the ear and rightly so. I know a couple of people who are indifferent and hated Trap especially but never to the extent of wanting Ireland to lose. At the end of Stan's reign or Trap's, the football was dire and it was all horrible, people would bitch and moan and the atmosphere was affected at Lansdowne but I don't think I've ever met anyone actively wanting Ireland to lose tbh.

Careful now Haha wp Be happy if England just make it out the groups this year. If we go out, we go out. I won't lose sleep over it, so long as the youngsters that'll be there next time out do well and settle in. Still remember cracking my head over my dad's beer glass as he was standing over me when Becks scored against Greece. And going balls deep in the vagina of celebration as a youngster after beating Germany 5-1 with the entire family around. Surreal

Carroll's header against Sweden >>>
Welbeck' goal to win it oh my days
This is why I can only assume Paul has no mates. Me and about 20 other pals went facking mental in our local boozer when these events happened. How can you not love it

Fucking hell I got so smashed that game haha, went to the cricket before, so that was just getting drunk, then that got rained off so went pub early, had about 5 pints more before kick off, went mental when Carroll scored, then when we were 2-1 down said I bet Walcott will make the difference if he's brought on, then he came on, scored and got an assist and I ended up being bought shit loads of drinks from my mate, ended up walking home throwing up at about half 12.
Mad night in Nottz.

I wanted England to lose in the last tournament, I was just done with them but this time around with most of the older players gone I'm not as fussed.
Still won't be going crazy when England score or anything but like I've mentioned before I'm not very patriotic, I'm just glad there's some football on to get me through the summer.

Yeah Euro 2012 was a tough watch, no-one likes to see their team outclassed like that. Losing to Cyprus etc, beating San Marino with a last minute goal weren't enjoyable but there was never any question of where your loyalties lay. Robbie Keane's goal against Germany in 2002 was an historic event.

Just typed in 'nigeria world cup' on Twitter, hoping to see Shola announced in their squad. Don't think it's been announced yet, but fucking hell some of their fans are ridiculously deluded, sounds like they're actually expecting at least the semis. Wonder if it's that way for other African countries.

The Nigeria provisional is definitely out and he's in that, was just hoping their full squad had been announced. Here's the wiki for all the squads anyway, seems to be very up-to-date.
