Aight, here we go. My comments will be in maroon at the bottom of each section. Night Phase 0One by one, they all arrived. Some walked, some floated, but by the break of dusk they were all gathered in the white, endless room.
"Roomy..."
This was just flavor, setting up the scene. --------------------
He had arrived with a purpose. There was one reason and one reason only that he agreed to come, and he couldn't wait to put his plan into action. For now, however, he patiently waited, preparing his first move... Ezio, aka Lone, the SK. He could kill on even nights and hide behind somebody on odd nights.--------------------
In another area of the room, a different male thought over his plan, one with a similar goal. He, however, decided take it into action immediately. He sat in an empty part of the room, staring straight ahead at... nothing. He didn't have a set target in mind yet. The first one to approach him would suffice... "Uh, hey, what's your name dude?"He continued to stare. "Um... okay, then. This place is pretty neat. I don't really know anyone here but I think it's pretty awesome to meet all these guys from different places around the universe. Yeah? ... Hello?"He stood up and stared right at the man. "..." "..Hi. Did you hear anything I just said? I'm just trying to introduce myself to-"
He pointed right at him. "...yes?"Before the man had time to react, he was hit with a spherical object and disappeared inside. Here we have Red (Jim van Bo) capturing his first Pokemon (Pikachu). This wasn't an actual character or player in the game; just to set it up. He was basically a cult leader that would capture a player, converting him into one of his six Pokemon. That player would lose all previous abilities but would completely change into the Pokemon. Once Red had caught all five (since he already had Pikachu) he would be able to send out one of his Pokemon to kill each night.--------------------He walked into the room. "Let's see here... 27, 28... perfect, you all came! I hope you guys have been making yourselves at home, as empty as this place may be. This should be a ton of fun!"He created a table out of midair and climbed to the top to get a view over everybody. "Now, you're all probably wondering why you're all here. There's no special mission for you guys to take on, or big bad enemy to fight, or anything like that. No, no. You're here because you are all my favorite video game characters, and I thought it would be a blast to gather you all here so I could meet you personally! Over all the years I've spent playing your games, a countless number of questions have crossed my mind that I've been dying to ask you, but never had the chance to. Now, though, I do have the chance. I think it could be fun for all of us to get to know each other up close, develop new friendships and share our similarities with each other. I know some of you have never even heard of some of the characters here, but I think this gathering could be a great opportunity to change that.
"So... what do you all say?"
"Meh, I dunno..."
"Yeah, I'm willing to try this out. Could be a lot of fun.
"I'M TOTALLY DOWN, BROOOO!"
"This is fucking stupid." Then he disappeared. "Come on now, don't leave!" he called out to nowhere in particular, as he had no idea where he disappeared to. "Just give it a chance at least, and I promise, you'll have fu-"
Before he could finish his sentence, he was on the ground, completely lifeless. The crowd entered into a panic, running in all directions in a desperate attempt to get away from the killer. As the chaos ensued, he reappeared. "It's time. Follow me."
Some followed. Others left in the other direction, off to their own tasks. The rest of them were still freaking out. "Calm down, you morons! If we can just compose ourselves and group together, we can figure out a plan and stop those bad guys! They're still out there. I know it. If we don't relax, work together, and fight them head-on, there's no chance we'll make it out of here alive!"Some of them calmed down to listen. "He's right. Everybody chill out for a moment."
"Right. Ahem. So if you would all just hear me out, I'll make a plan for all of us to follow by and eliminate those traitors. In return, I'd greatly appreciate it if you would all just do me one small favor-"
"They're out there, and they're plotting our downfall. I just know it. Those who left want revenge against some of us for things we have done to them in the past. I know this because I'm one of those guys. The sorcerer is out there... I don't know how he's back, but he's out there. And he's trying to kill me again. I didn't want to be woken up again, but now that I'm here, I'm not going back to sleep until they're all eliminated!"
"Yeah! You're welcome for starting that by the way but uh great so if you could all just give me the small favor that I'd like then-"
The crowd erupted in cheers. They all knew their specific skills and what they could do in the upcoming battle. They were ready to fight. Me calling in all the characters. The red text was Rawk Hawk (Smell the Chiken); purple text was King Boo (RickRude), the don of the scum group; pink was Wheatley (Memento Mori), trying to ask everyone to lynch him; black was Daniel Fortesque (Stu). Day 1 here we goooo So this might have been the most interesting first day phase I've ever seen. First post in the game was a daykill of a townie by a townie, wasting two powerful town abilities. Kind of a silly reason to do that right away for something that happened two years ago, but ehh, not my place to really say. So yeah, scum were laughing about the daykill and hoped to pull off a lynch on Chiken too. Town was smart though; he did something stupid, but town's greatest power is the numbers. These were hilarious tbh:
kingspud: "plotted for 2 years lol america has another future psycho on the loose" "pls don't take offence to anything said in this thread I don't wanna get day killed in 2016"
So yeah, spud actually was a watcher, but it was a watcher variant. Kuhn's Video Game Characters Mafia Role
You are Captain Olimar: Protagonist-Aligned Treasure Hunter And Leader Of The Pikmin
From: The Pikmin Series
pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Captain_Olimar *whistles* You’ve crashed your ship more times than lives you have, and yet here you are. Not a scratch on your body nor your suit and helmet. All of the bumps in your travels haven’t been nearly enough to stop you from seeking out treasure and paying off your Hocotate debt. Of course, you wouldn’t have been able to do half of the things you did without the Pikmin you encountered along the way, who instantly became loyal to the one they saw as their master. You’re great at searching for treasure, finding secrets, and locating things (like your crashed ship), and you plan to use these talents of yours in this battle against those who seem out to kill you and the others on your side. Luckily you decided to bring a bunch of Pikmin with you to this gathering; but did you bring enough? That depends entirely on how you use the six that you took along with you. Up to twice per night phase, you may PM me the following: [b]Watch: Player’s Name[/b] You will then be told which players, if any, targeted the player, or players, you targeted. Keep in mind that you only have six uses of this ability, because the Pikmin you send out to do the watching will wander off on their own after they report back to you. Use them wisely! You win when all threats to the Protagonist-Aligned are eliminated.
In hindsight the role was kinda weak in the sense that he only had six shots of it. Probably would've made it more like 8 or 10 if I were to change it around. I had done six because Olimar only has 6 Pikmin in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but again, should've been a little better. I tried balancing it out by allowing up to two per night though which I thought would've helped a lot. Regardless, it clearly didn't matter since he didn't even get to use his ability once. Sighhhh. Memento Mori: "Can you trust a guy who'd vote for himself? Change Vote: Memento Mori" The start of his quest towards getting himself lynched. Then we see Benneh using his musical role which I'll get to on Night 1, when he died. Disenchanted/Cesaro as well, with his " quite". Again, when he dies I'll get to it. Both of these guys pretty much activated their abilities by posting in the thread, though. Stu and Benneh get into an argument... about the previous game. /rolleyes Disenchanted/Cesaro: "id like to know how talking bollocks about the last game is gonna help us win this one" Yes, thank you. No Lynch was achieved Day 1, with only 14 votes down where 15 were required. iirc this was because Benneh had a double vote that phase, which I'll check back up on when I go over Night 1. Actually okay I just checked and yeah Benneh had a double vote. Just helped end the phase earlier which was good. Oh right and Disenchanted/Cesaro had a triple vote for that phase which he activated with his q because he really wanted Chiken dead. Went to waste, unfortunately. :/ Day Phase 1's write-up didn't have anything in it really so I'm not going to bother with it. Probably won't bother with most of the day write-ups actually because I don't think most, if any, of them had anything behind them. Edit: Whoops almost missed this: Memento Mori: "Let's not get caught out by the moron again. Vote: Maski" So he had a post restriction where if he talked in a phase, he would have to use the word moron or else his "get lynched to win" condition would be voided for the next day phase. This led to some hilarious stuff in the PMs actually, which I'll share when we get to them.

I do have to say Stu and Coslamp did put up a hell of a fight. They were easily the two players I was most afraid of ruining our scum plans. I was worried CosLamp was going to stop me getting lynched for quite a while, but then if I remember correctly, he ended up helping me out.

I was adamant (and correct) that you had an ability that activated when you were killed. Expected it to be something more helpful towards town rather than straight up winning I did think about trying to bluff something like that, but in the end I didn't need to. I did have one idea along those lines, but you prevented it by working out that I was the sphere, as the plan was to role-claim as a character who that definitely could not describe.

Daniel Fortesque was a good fit for Stu, considering they're both bald.

Flavor. --------------------
I'm hearing voices...
Guide (notpropaganda), the PC Geek, receiving info about the game. --------------------
It was ironic. For someone who's known to slip by easily due to his size, he was quite popular on the first night.
First he was approached by a... bipedal crocodile? Hm.
"Phew. Gettin' the hang of it."
?
And then a teenage boy.
"Haha, no. Not sure what I was even thinking there..." ...okay.The little dude decided to check somebody out himself. But not who he had intended. Wait. How did he just...Confused, he turned around to find somebody standing directly over him. What even is this-Before he could finish the thought, he was already in the vacuum. "Heh. Good thing he's so small..."So Chibi-Robo (Maski) was targeted quite a lot on the first night. Chibi-Robo doesn't speak, so when I wrote him in the write-ups, I just had him think in italics instead. The bipedal crocodile approaching him at first was Croc (condo124), who was the cop. What he didn't know, however, was that his investigations were opposite on even-numbered nights. So if he would've gotten a non-town result, it would've come up as town, and vice versa. This was an odd night though so he got a town result on Maski. This was hinted at in his role PM, but I'm not so sure he picked up on it. Vector, the other crocodile in the game, was known as a detective, and I mentioned him in the PM. I'll go over that when I get to condo's death. Sora (Hellas) had to find Axel in the game to help town out and each night he could check if someone was Axel or not. He's the teenage boy, checking Maski. Maski himself was able to check a player to see what abilities were directed at him for the night, but not by whom. He tried checking Bollo, but Bollo was bus driven with Hellas. He got the result that nothing was directed at him but looking back I made a mistake with that. Oooops. Didn't matter though as it was made public in the thread the next day phase anyway. Then, finally, Bollo (Luigi) sucked in Maski, or, in other words, recruited him into his mason to talk outside of the thread. --------------------Another bipedal crocodile was out and about. For some reason, he was bloodthirsty. "Hey, what's UP? I hope you're not still mad about, you know, what I did. But it had to be done, man! I'm sure you understand. OF COURSE YOU UNDERSTAND!""Oh, I understand all right. But that's not what this is about.""That's not what WHAT is about, bro? What are you going on about?""I'm going to kill you.""WHOA! Just take it easy for a second there! You don't wanna get too close to the RAAAAAWKKK! ... W-wait a second. I know you! You're... you're..."And then he died. Scum team's kill, though it doesn't seem like it. Doopliss (Jooglewooga) was able to transform into the character of another player each night to carry out the kill, for write-up's sake mainly. This night he chose Benneh, who was one of the two bipedal crocodiles (Vector), so it appeared that Vector was the one killing. Not exactly sure why they killed Chiken when it was very likely that he was just vanilla from that point on, but alas.--------------------He was lying about, not up to doing much tonight. Somebody else was around to make sure of that, regardless. "He's not doing anything.""I know. But I want to have a word from him.""Don't you mean with him?""No."He walked right on up to him. "Give me that."Here is Bowser Jr. (slickscizor) roleblocking killer iPod for the scum team. Wasted roleblock since iPod only had a one-shot revival ability. Doopliss (Jooglewooga) was also allowed to steal a word from a player for the next day phase, and if the player said that word, he would be silenced for the rest of the phase. He stole "you" from killer iPod (Spyro) but he forgot about my PM telling him he couldn't say the word and ended up being silenced in Day 2.--------------------All he needed tonight was himself. Well, himself and his cape. On odd-numbered nights, Meta Knight (Winter) basically commuted and couldn't be targeted by anything.--------------------He had two letters in his hands. He knew exactly which one he wanted to give to whom. Unfortunately, he forgot to label them. "Ah, shit. Uhh... Here, take this. You too."He didn't walk away confidently. Zarok (Eric/smartbomb) was able to anonymously send two messages to players each night. At this point in the game, it was Eric who was still playing, and ironically he chose the two players that were bus driven. He meant to send "Benneh is scum, he took out Chiken." to Bollo, and "If Chiken dies, be careful of Benneh." to Hellas, but they were switched around. Their plan was to try framing Benneh as the killer, and that's why they made Doopliss look like him.--------------------"Hey. I want you to have this.""Not sure that'll fit... But thanks."He was determined tonight. After losing one of their own almost immediately, he knew that it was time to take action into his hands. Or whatever was left of them... "Hey, come here for a second, will ya?""Um.. yes?""I'd like to know why you've been causing so much mischief tonight.""..me? I haven't even done anything all night but listen to my tunes!"He was convinced that he was lying. He took his head. And then he disappeared. Beginning is Maxwell (clynch7) giving Dan Fortesque (Stu) a bulletproof vest, which would protect him from one kill. This absolutely came in handy later on. Then Fortesque killed Benneh. The part at the end about "he disappeared" was my way of describing that Stu was recruited by Red (Jim van Bo) to his Pokemon cult.--------------------
It wasn't what he was aiming for. But it would suffice nonetheless. Fawful (DarkHarvest722) redirected Jim van Bo into Stu. Originally he tried to capture/recruit Benneh, which would've changed Benneh into Venusaur, but Benneh was dying that night via Stu anyway, and that would've been a horrible first night for a cult recruiter. Stu's vigilante role also had a twist to it where if he killed a player with a different alignment/different intentions, his role would be buffed, represented by a chalice filling (since you fill chalices in MediEvil). Each night he didn't kill, it would fill one-third of the way, but if he killed a player of the same alignment/intentions, any chalice that he was currently filling would've emptied completely. This was Night 1, so the chalice remained empty. Anyway, Jim would've been off to a bad start, but thanks to scum, he ended up recruiting somebody who stayed alive, and the vigilante at that. This cult changed alignment and made the player vanilla, as I mentioned earlier, so Stu could no longer kill while he was part of the cult and he was turned into Venusaur. This actually helped town as well, I'd like to believe, because Stu wasn't going around killing townies and he also wasn't being shown in the write-ups. Probably falsely led scum to believe that there wasn't a vigilante they had to worry about. All because of a simple redirect. Huh. Chiken is dead! He was Rawk Hawk: Protagonist-Aligned Master Of The RAAAAAAAAWK!Бенне is dead! He was Vector: Protagonist-Aligned Crocodile Who Always Jams to MusicChiken's role PM: Kuhn's Video Game Characters Mafia Role
You are Rawk Hawk: Protagonist-Aligned Master Of The RAAAAAAAAWK!
From: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
www.mariowiki.com/Rawk_Hawk Are you ready to RAAAAAAAAAAWK? As the reigning champion in the Glitz Pit, everybody looks up to you. Name any enemy that has challenged you, and you’ll find his name on your list of victims of the RAAAAAAAAWK! Although your title was eventually taken by Mario, you’re still looked at as the greatest of the Glitz Pit, as you stuck around while Mario ran off to some other area. In this fight against those who want to kill you, you’re ready to get at it and fight ‘em to the death. Literally. One time in the game, during any day phase, you may post the following in the thread: [b]Player’s Name is about to get RAAAAAAAAWKED![/b] When you post this, that player will be killed by you and your powerful fighting skills. In other words, that player will be RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWKED! Now go get ‘em. You win when all threats to the Protagonist-Aligned are eliminated.Basic one-shot daykill. Put to waste in the first post of the game by taking out another townie (and a good player at the same time) and turning him into a vanilla townie at the same time. Can't really say when he would've been killed off had he not used it, so if he hadn't used it early he might not have ever been able to, but at the same time, he wouldn't have killed off another townie. So, I dunno. Benneh's role PM: You’ve got your music and that’s all you need. Easily one of my two favorite video game crocodiles, you’re known to be a great investigator, but that role was taken up by somebody else in this battle against the baddies. Somebody who may have more in common with you than you think, actually… As Vector, you’ve been called to this gathering, but you’re not really sure why. Now that you’re here, though, you’re willing to team up with the others who want to stop the killers. Your methods will be unique in this battle. Every time you place a vote in the thread during a day phase, you will receive a random fact about music. This fact can vary from something specific about a particular band to something very very broad about music in general. You can choose to post this fact in the thread exactly as it was received, meaning you quote the fact, remove the quote tags, and post the fact in the thread with all of the coding behind it. For example: [quote][i]There is a ton of [b]music[/b] all over the world.[/i][/quote] If you decide to post this in the thread, in order for it to count, you would have to copy and paste the text and delete the quote tags to make sure that the statement stays italicized and the word music stays bolded. Now, every time you post one of these facts in the thread exactly as it was received, you will receive one of five things: 1. Random information about the game 2. A double vote to use in your next lynch (keep in mind that these votes don’t stack, so if you post two facts and happen to receive two double votes before you use the first one, the second one will be voided) 3. The song title of a song in a video game that has a character represented in this game 4. The ability to send a message that you write out to one random player (which I will edit if needed, to remove certain information that I feel should not be revealed or said, like your username for example) 5. Random song lyrics that mean absolutely nothing to the game or its characters There is no restriction on how often you can vote to receive music facts to activate your abilities. However, voting for yourself will not activate the ability, nor will voting for nobody nor for a no lynch. Just be wary that excessive random voting and posting of music facts could likely draw suspicion to you. You win when all threats to the Protagonist-Aligned are eliminated. This was an interesting role that I threw in just cuz. Could've helped out a lot or could've been a bust. The random info and double vote could've proven very useful if the circumstances allowed it. The song title helped as well because he could then look it up to see what game it's from and get an idea on a character that could be in the game. Message could've worked out if he tried tricking players into doing whatever, since it was sent to a random player. He would've been able to find out who received it and how he reacted to get a read on him. Number 5 was absolutely useless though. So, yeah. I don't know if Stu killed him because he legitimately thought it was a fake claim or if it was just in spite of their argument or what... but he probably shouldn't have. I mean, it isn't the strongest role, but it didn't have any restrictions on how often it could be used. If the RNG allowed it, he could've received much more info than an ordinary PC Geek would've, along with a double vote over the phases. Again the messages could've been useful if he used them the right way. Gotta say I get the feeling Stu would've killed every night had he been given the chance to, which would've ended up really well or really poorly... Since it seems he enjoys killing off his friends rather than those that actually seem scummy. Edit: Forget to add a few things. So at this point, The mason stood at Bollo and Maski. The cult stood at Jim van Bo and Stu. Scum team still had all six. notpropaganda the PC Geek received these facts, one of which was false: 1. The mafia in this game are Evil-Aligned. 2. There are, as of the end of Night 1, six mafia members remaining. 3. The mafia is not the only threat to the Protagonist-Aligned in this game. Number 1 was false. Kinda poor info to give in hindsight but it was Night 1 so yeah. I believe that is all.

The reason for my claim was that I claimed down my actual ability because I thought that the mafia would never waste an early night kill on such a terrible claimed ability, while i'd get carte blanche to use the quotes as many times as I see fit, which could get me some useful information. One of those things I guess, H8 u Stu. Was going to use my death post to advise killing you but completely forgot, but i'll remember this. Watch your back in 2 years when I get a day kill mate.

Day 2 So I gotta say Coslamp pretty much balled this game and this phase is a great example of that with: "Still reckon there's a cult situation going on with Ash Ketch going around catching people (my interpretation of the end of the first part of the write-up)" "99% sure Benneh was killed by a vigilante of some sort rather than SK since the first bold implies the killer is town aligned town aligned." "Also upon second thoughts I don't think these two incidents are linked. First speaks more of Ash, particularly in a game sense in that he's a silent protagonist and the spherical object/disappearing inside. Then the guy in the second part speaks, and the 'vacuum' could mean a literal vacuum, Luigi's mansion style." 100% correct with all of these (except that Ash was actually Red, but Ash is based off Red anyway). Memento Mori figured out the bus drive of N1 with the two letters being swapped. Kudos to him as well. Then there's his "moron" comment: "At this early stage, only a moron would use that ability if they are town aligned. So it must surely be someone from another faction." ...which lead to this comment from Maski in the mason chat: "MM just called me a moron.. Its so tempting to say oi fuck off" Laughed out loud when I read that because he had no idea that it was something he had to say. and then Bollo was all: "he's always tempting to tell to fuck off." Lone: "Stu = vigilante imo." hahahaha condo124 had something good to say here: "Guys why are we no lynching for the second phase in a row? Why not put some pressure on someone and hammer some info out of them? I'm not saying lynch someone at random, but since we're pretty much all very active, we should put some votes on someone, like Bollo, and see what he has to say for himself." None of you really had much to go off of, true, but condo brought up a good point in that you should've been trying to get some info out of people. The game of mafia isn't all about night phases; again, town's strongest power is numbers during day phases. Tominho: "Because there's literally fuck all to go off, may as well ride this one out then make a more decisive decision when we've got more information. I'm actually suspicious now of condo for being so quick to jump on the attack." /facepalm Yeah suarez/Hamish had the right idea: "thing is it isn't a specific attack on bollo but putting pressure on anyone to get somewhere. in the last game the mafia were able to take out 6 townies before anything got done" and smartbomb as well who's had more experience than the majority of players in the game I'd expect (though he was scum but still) Maski as well yeah. So Tominho I know you're still fairly new at the game of mafia and that's something you should definitely work towards adapting and taking advantage of. Night abilities can only work to a certain extent and almost always, every townie shares the power of questioning players and finding out info to see if someone slips up or lies or anything like that. You are right in the sense that it's something non-town players can just as easily do, but you can't be wary of that every/any time it happens and you definitely need to take advantage of it as well. People were getting suspicious of Hellas because of his random voting which I can say is a bit odd for Day 2 but it's expected on Day 1 so I don't think that was really a justified reason. Though I will say Hellas you need to support your actions a bit better next time since "'Cos I felt like it m8" isn't really... substance. Not sure how new you are at the game but I'm sure you'll get there if this was only your second. "I still think the bus driver means no good will to the town." Erm no sorry MM you're wrong So this phase was the phase where killer iPod couldn't say the word "you" or any variations of it (such as "u") but then "Damn you Kuhn." I missed it at first so I had to go back and report all his posts after that and announce that he was silenced. Wasn't too big of a deal though since nothing was really achieved this phase anyways. Modiga replaced UMB which was good at first though he became just as inactive shortly after and didn't use his one-shot ability all game. Boo. Hellas absolutely refused to listen to Tominho's genuine advice /rolleyes lol this was pretty funny as well but I'm not sure if any of you caught it. MM wanted to be lynched since he had to be to win, so he made this post "I'm definitely up for voting No Lynch." and changed his name to No Lynch (as a joke but I don't know if he legitimately hoped I would count it or not) which I thought was pretty funny. Of course I wouldn't have counted that regardless but he changed it back 5/10 minutes after. Aaaand that's about all for Day Phase 2 stay tuned for the crazy long Night Phase 2
