so? they're still a bigger club never said they weren't, dunno what your point is Its true though. Players will have rejected Newcastle to go to a 'smaller' club cause theyd pay more money. Players probably dont care greatly about reputation. case and point, loic remy to the first point, fair enough. and remy's a bit of an extreme example, and he massively covered his arse so that he could get out quickly

Because he probably didn't even have to move house instead of moving down to London, goes to a club higher in the table than West Ham and it's also his boyhood club

i still don't see how that would make it the worst example ever, there's plenty of players who have to make that choice. obviously there's tons of factors but i don't think moving house is as anywhere near as significant a factor as you're making out

you dont think moving his family all the way down the country would have a say on moving to a more local club instead, especially the club he supported as a kid?

Yeah but he had so many reasons to go to Newcastle instead of West Ham.

Prime amongst them being that we're a bigger club

2014 and Newcastle fans still think they're a big club.
Got to love their delusion.

I don't care about Newcastle. I'm making a comment on your fans delusion.I could say the same about West Ham, doesn't mean I want a rivalry.

Also me making a post to one Newcastle fan on an internet forum is hardly starting a rivalry anyway you mong.
