Ericsson was signed because of money.

To be fair, I won't miss Sutil but I'm surprised no Mexican backer went big with Gutierrez given the return of the Mexican GP next season.
Been thinking how difficult it must be for Ham/Ros after this weekend. Title will definitely still be on until Abu Dhabi, that two week wait must be fucking horrible. Especially for Ham who could potentially be 1 point away after Brazil.
Though given his Brazil record, maybe not.

Imagine most of the Mexican money is either going behind the GP itself or Perez who's more assured of a seat? Becoming a farce and hopefully sooner rather than later we see a watershed moment in terms of fairness; the amount of money different teams get paid was laid bare brilliantly by Andrew Benson here; www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/29905081No wonder we're seeing more and more pay drivers taking part.

Majority seem to think it will rain throughout quali. Pirelli said they're worried how bad the new surface will be in the rain. Could be chaos.

A cross-track river a la 2003 will be wonderful.

Really don't want Hamilton go win and Rosberg retire today. Going in 49 points clear just asks for the 50 points finale to play its part.
ROS/HAM 1-2 fine, 17 point lead makes it not feel as though double points will be as important.

That'd be alright, just the thought of HAM going to Abu Dhabi needing 1 point is awful, you just know what would happen.
Funniest situation would be 49 points, HAM retiring at Abu Dhabi and Rosberg finishing second.

Sounds like Ferrari & RBR running 3 car teams if Marussia and Caterham don't come back before the 5 main teams take over in 2016.
Toro Rosso to remain RBR's customer team and Haas to be Ferrari's team. Sauber, Force India and Lotus to be pushed out.

Lewis doesn't need to instantly have Rosberg, Nico has worn rears from Q2 yesterday so he'll start to struggle quite early.

If heat stays as it is or even climbs there's going to be a bit of drama with tyres I reckon, especially if Brundle is talking of tyres blistering in the heat.
Not really any easy passing places here so I reckon Hamilton will sit pretty and try the undercut during the pits.

Reckon that slip might just cost him the title.
I can't cope with this again.

Nah Hamilton has Rosberg's number here and he's got his number in Abu Dhabi too.

5th would have been good enough in Abu Dhabi had he won today. Urgh.
If both cars are reliable and they stay out of trouble 1-2 will be a breeze. Longer tracks always emphasis Merc's advantage.
