Hamilton being so dominant pisses enough people off that it makes me happy.

That's how I felt about Vettel. I do wish they'd fucking get it together for a season where they have more than team set of good cars though (or at least put two top drivers in the 'together' team than a great driver and a jabroni) it can't be doing any good, for the sport when it's already on its arse with less and less teams and constructors showing an interest, to be having season after season of one sided borefests. I've not watched a full race this season, I've not watched any qualifiers apart from the first one and most the races this season I've just watched the first 2 laps and if Hamilton is in the lead, I'll turn it off and only turn it back on if someone on twitter comments on it either being close or Hamilton retiring/having car trouble.

Yeah it's all a bit naff really.
Mercedes used all their engine upgrades in one go and now have a factory engine that is at least a second a lap faster than all other engines. Conveniently enough they don't have enough parts to allow the works teams to use one.
Red Bull were after using a Merc engine next year as they're finished with Renault but that's been shot down so they're likely to end up with a Ferrari engine.
McLaren have lost their patience with Honda's shocking engine, Ron Dennis is demanding the head of Honda's motorsport division is removed after he's been giving interviews declaring their engine is better than Renault's. 3 seconds a lap slower than the Mercs, if not for Marussia running 2014's car they'd be dead last.
Bit of a shit season in all really. Think the only bright spark from it all has been Verstappen tbh, he looks like he has a very bright future.

Definitely, wasn't really the Vettel part that bothered me, think everyone could tell he was a bit of a twat when he was younger, more just how badly Red Bull handled everything whilst the two were teammates.

You get the feeling all the major constructors would love Rubens Barrichello in their car as a solid reliable No.2 driver who barely kicks up a fuss. Probably the most friendliest guy on the grid back then... sadly to his detriment as he kinda got walked on by the likes of Button @ Brawn and most certainly by Schumacher @ Ferrari. I think Rubinho just enjoyed the racing and didn't care that much for the fame and glory.
Him winning his first F1 race in Hockenheim from almost the back of the grid is one of the best moments in F1.

Mercedes absolutely nowhere in first two practices at Singapore, their engine superiority not offering much on a circuit with many corners and few long straights.
Red Bull going with a Ferrari engine next year, before becoming a VW owned team (likely Audi but could be Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley) with the Red Bull livery.

Mark Webber is a bitter wanker. If Red Bull had treated him like a number one, they'd have won fuck all. He wants to thank his lucky stars he got to be in the #2 car on the grid for 4/5 years simply by the pure luck he was at Red Bull when they were an average mid-table team who blew up into the top constructor. It'd be like Sauber blowing up into a major team next year, them signing Hamilton the year after and Marcus Eriksson complaining that he was the victim of his partner getting preferential treatment.

He has every right to be pissed off at certain things that went on when he was on his day matching Vettel's pace though. I agree he needs to get over it, but yeah, he was expecting equal treatment at first at the very least and didn't get that chance as much as he'd like.

So Grosjean's going to Haas, didn't see that coming. Must be convinced they'll have a decent car or it can help him get Kimi's seat in 2017.
Leaves a Lotus seat open, probably a McLaren too as I can't see Button sticking around beyond this season. Vandoorne or Magnussen for the McLaren, would like to see Lotus go for Magnussen but can't see it, feel he'll be left out with Gutierrez seemingly taking the other Haas seat.

That might be the most ridiculous FP1 I've ever watched.
