Floyd's defensive work is exceptional, the amount of times he gets into a corner and then manages to maneover out is incredibly. I defo think Pacquaio slowed down a lot from about round 8 onwards though, threw nowhere near as many combinations and when he got Floyd in the corner he never really let his hands go and sometimes made it too easy for him to escape.

I noticed Pacquiao when he got Floyd into a corner was trying to draw Floyd's lead and then dive in with his combos and a few times Floyd seemed to panic and fall short with his shot but Manny was never quick enough to react and jump in.
I think that was Manny's game plan anyway and that's why it looked like he was hesitant to throw when Floyd was on the ropes but he was trying to make Floyd throw first.
Got to a point where it was working though and he should have to just went for it.

I thought you were cool, man It was a bit boring for a casual fan though wasn't it. It threatened to spark into life a few times but FM is too good for that isn't he. I appreciate what he's good at but as someone looking for an eye catching performance/fight he was the spoiler. Boring boring chelsea.

It's the problem when there are too many casual fans watching any sport. Nothing is universally liked.
Didn't watch the fight myself, I quite like watching boxing but not enough to spend 25 euro for something on at 4am. Disappointed about Pacquiao, was he outclassed?

No one here has actually criticised the fight and said it was shit? Believe it or not there is a whole world outside this forum Michael. Yeah Gary it wasnt a fight that gave causals what they would want.

I had people at the party I was at saying it was a joke of a fight, the fight was fixed and it wasn't Hagler Hearns.
Now why they expected it to be Hagler Hearns I don't have the slightest clue. I'm not watching Boxing with casuals anymore I can't cope with it.

Can't for the life of me find any footage of Froch asking Mayweather a question and opening it with "I beat George Groves in front of 80000 people" bar an edited clip with Mr Bean sleeping in between it.
I hope his autobiography reads as well as his real lie persona is, convinced it's all one big parody.

The amount of stick Mayweather is getting is crazy. It's as if nobody has ever watched a Mayweather fight before. If he's relinquishing his titles, I wonder who he's gonna fight? Move up one more time and retire? Calling it, he's ending Klitschko's win streak.

Aye, you'd think even the casual's would have by now learnt what a typical Mayweather fight will be like. Can fully understand people not finding the fight enjoyable but it was definitely intruiging, the amount of people who were sat ringside who know boxing, and were talking up what a performance it was from Mayweather and just how good his defence is.

Are there any mandatories he'd have to face for any of his belts? Otherwise I can't get my head around him relinquishing the belts straight away.
