fucking hell 15-16 just looks wrong, fundamentally absurd. Anyway it's that time of year where we start throwing our own 2 cents or £32.5m at what we think is gonna happen this season and as usual, I'm starting it well too early even though we've barely seen our teams play a pre season game yet. But sometimes you get so hyped up over a 4-0 trouncing of a team cocksure enough to call themselves True All-Stars that you have to start thinking its your year, even though Chelsea are still Chelsea and everyone above you bar Spurs has improved their squad quite a bit.
As normal I don't give a fuck about lower league peasantry until the playoffs so I'm just going for the Prem and the cups and that. I can't even remember who got promoted so I'm just gonna put transit for some of them, as is the case for many a lower league pre season match report.

We always do better after a quiet window, keep who we need to keep and theres no reason we won't improve, 5th or 6th but more involved in the top 4 race will be a good season in my eyes, its not necessarily failing to improve on last season if that is the case either, its another years experience for Poch, when he took over I thought we were maybe 3 full seasons away from going up to that level and I maintain that, we,re npt doing that wholesale changes for the sake of it thing (or at least haven't so far), most looking forward to see of and how players like Pritchard and Dele Alli can be worked into the team, a lot of the dross from the post Harry era is seeping out, I see us needing 1, maybe 2 max players still from this window
West Ham, Arsenal and Chelsea to go down, Southampton will win the Champions League and Gomes to win player of the season

2015/16 used to be where I was really happy with myself if I got to that stage on football manager
Personally can't see us being anywhere near as bad as last season, and it's not like the midtable teams have suddenly all got a lot better. Bit of confidence and proper management, we'll be amongst those sides again. Also probably going to be one of the only ones saying this but I bet Bournemouth stay up comfortably

Same Top 4 as last season although I wouldn't like to guess the order until the transfer window has shut
Chelsea to win the Champions League
Leicester, Watford and Bournemouth to go down

Whilst recognizing some of the points may be off - I'm happy with this as a representation of where I think everyone will finish.

Southampton are in Europe aren't they? Bet they slide back into midtable more than everyone here is saying. The side that is the best of the rest tend to do that anyway

Just feels like they have a good combination of attributes to attack the league with no fear yet still have the requisite quality to be more than a Blackpool. Norwich are my certs to go down, their squad doesn't look that different from the one that has failed previously
