Let's just hope we never see anything like this during 'peacetime' again. Peacetime? Just because the battle isnt on your doorstep, this is not Peacetime. Not for France or the UK. So depressingly obvious how this will play out. People/morons will claim this is because of the refugee's (already happened on a few local FB pages I've seen), ISIS will claim they snuck in via this way, Europe will fall out over this and begin to move more to the right as a result, further alienating the very communities we should be putting our arms around and protecting instead of pointing at and questioning.

Why are France the number one enemy for the Islamic State atm? Because of the ghetto-esque situation they have going on with refugees and minorities?
Failing that, if someone could just post up a couple of articles they might've seen that'd be grand. No idea what to even look for on the old interweb

No idea what to even look for on the old interweb I'd imagine a lot of it is to do with their stance on Syria, and also their extreme secularism which ISIS probably see as a microcosm of the war they envisage of Western culture v Islam They also want Islamophobia after these attacks. It feeds into their worldview |

He's just come across as somebody who doesnt know that there is a war going on and saying things like "this is the worst since Madrid" (yeah, it aint word for word) is just awful to me and very, very naive. |

It is the worst since Madrid though from a Westerner's perspective. Not in terms of the death toll maybe, but in terms of the repercussions of the event. Nothing he's said seems particularly ignorant to me, and frankly everyone responds differently to things like this anyway. Naivety is ignorance of world events, just because his view is different to yours doesn't make it naive.
