158 now, with hundreds more injured, potentially life threatening to a lot as well.

Let's just hope we never see anything like this during 'peacetime' again.

Is this not the best symbol of hope? The WORLD TRADE CENTER lit up in French colours.

Sickening stuff. Stayed about a 10 minute walk away from one of locations of the attacks when I stayed in Paris a few years ago, the complete randomness of the targets is scary, could be anyone just in that restaurant or concert or match or whatever.
Think Isis said that France is their number 1 enemy, even more so than the U.S. so they have a serious problem there. They're quite active in Syria and former colonists so this is retaliation really
Have to say the German football team were lucky as well. Not really reported much amidst bigger news but their hotel was evacuated due to a bomb scare earlier today. Considering what happened later, could have been further tragedy if there was a bomb that wasn't detected. Also suggests that there was suspicions that something was going to happen tonight. Friday the 13th they picked too.

Just read that the theatre can hold 1500 people. Thank fuck it wasn't anywhere near being full or the numbers could have been a lot worse.

Video in Le Monde filmed from the top of the back alley of the Bataclan, absolutely horrific, people sprinting out of a back entrance, some of them dragging lifeless bodies along the street with them.
Already got spastics on FB whinging about us being next, this is because of the immigrants coming over etc...
What a shitty fucking world this is at the moment.

Hollande saying this was organised outside of France but enabled with assistance from within. Arrests made in Germany and Belgium that are apparently linked. This is huge, again this isn't just some lone-wolf type thing this is a seriously planned, prepared attack that's been planned for months and that it's slipped through the net is extremely worrying for all of Europe tbh.
Anybody can walk into a shop and buy a knife to kill somebody. To not only arm yourself with kalashnikovs but to construct various bombs and suicide vests shows just how intricate this whole thing was.
Also, four attackers in the Bataclan, 3 of which blew themselves up when the police entered. They pretty much wanted them to go in, that was their last stand, blow themselves up like the shitstains that they are and try and take some of the police out with them.
rofl fucking hell i'm just baffled at the sheer stupidty of blowing yourself up after killing innocent people and genuinely believeing it's a logical, justified thing to do.

Final count on attackers is that 1 was shot dead by police, 7 others killed themselves with suicide vests.
