well if the "dirty tricks" he played on Sunday are anything to go by he probably would have gone full Schumacher on Hill/Villnueve and blew it.
Anyway, despite the straight face he's put on things i'd say Hamilton is utterly reeling. Will be surprised if he doesn't win it next season.

If they were dirty tricks then we might as well just have all the cars do 10 laps on the track on their own and see who does it quicker. A sportsman doing his best to win the title, what a surprise. Rosberg would've done the same, in fact anyone would've done the same. Despite its structure Formula One isn't a team sport, beyond doing his basic job for Mercedes by helping them win the constructors title, Hamilton has no obligation to play as a team member.
And of course he's reeling, he's been the better driver this season and was let down by his car failing on him half the time for the third season running, it just happened that Rosberg actually took advantage this year.

oh i dunno if it can be claimed he has been the better driver when Rosberg had effectively won the championship with 4 races to go, even when you bring out all these stats about race wins/poles it's diluted by the fact that Rosberg only had to consolidate the last 4 races of the season.
Anyway Nico kept his mouth shut and didn't get involved with Hamilton like he did in 2014 and that's a massive reason he's won it. Such a class act.

F1 has been garbage for years now.
Just shows how rubbish it is when someone is criticised for trying to win. Its a pointless sport these days.

Why are 95% of the teams incapable of putting out a competitive car is what I want to know

Also is there a logical reason why each team has 2 drivers?

Really hope the new regulations shake things up and put at least one other team closer to the front. Last few years have been almost as bad as early noughties Ferrari.

why do you even watch sport if you don't like what hamilton did, what a fucking bore I'm not impartial here though so what is the 'why do you even watch sport' bollox about?Do you really think if the roles were reversed the people on here and the media would be praising Rosberg for his efforts? The amount of whining i've seen from Hamilton fans and the press that Lewis deserved to win the title blah blah blah despite the fact the last 4 races were near enough dead rubbers. i also admit then Hamilton is the better driver out of the though but Rosberg's performances have been understated this year, even in a title win.

im not arsed about what the media think but yes i'd be saying the same to anyone if the roles were reversed or any other driver was in that situation. there's a championship at stake ffs you should be doing absolutely anything you can to win it within the rules of the sport. i dont even like hamilton

I can't stand Hamilton and love to see him lose, but he did nothing wrong. He was trying all he could to win a world title. Like someone mentioned, F1 is a team sport in the loosest way possible seeing as only 1 driver ends up as world champion.

May as well retire when you're at the top. Not as if he needs the money either.
