How have Arsenal managed to finish second this year, the standard at the top end this year is a joke. Leicester for being the one of the few fully functional teams, were good enough to win it by a country mile in the end. I don't know if it's more ridiculous that Leicester won the league, or that they won it by 10 fucking points.

Arsenal have gone from 4th to 3rd to 2nd in the past three seasons now. Wenger out?

The bomb was a hoax and an 'incredibly lifelike explosive device' according to GM Police. Now to find the twats who did it. God knows if someone did it as a joke or possibly a legit terror cell was having a dry run, especially if it was considered incredibly lifelike and required a controlled explosion with military supervision.

partly that, partly the players thinking us not winning the league meant we had nothing left to play for, partly lack of squad depth, partly moronic mistakes made by usually competent players. we should have had enough to at least draw today anyway.

the worst thing is that this will be how our season is remembered. not our dismantling of city, west ham, united & stoke, nor our fantastic football we played, nor our terrific defence for the majority of the year. losing 5-1 to an already relegated team in the most embarrassing performance i've seen (possibly ever) and letting arsenal get the last laugh again. we still haven't finished above them in my lifetime, and considering how we only needed 3 points from the last 12 to do that, i wonder if it's just something in the buildup of the club that makes us settle for inferiority. last few weeks have been pathetic, and i'm certain they'll have an affect on next season.

Even if we had finished second nobody would have cared or remembered, but our performances over the past few weeks have been utter dogshite. Just a sad and pathetic end to what is still our best PL finish ever. Levy saved a few bob though.
