That's what impressed me there. I'm not arsed if it's only Fleetwood these are kids we usually send on loan to clubs like this and they look a lot better than them.

Ibe confirmed now. Wish him well, good deal for all parties id say.
In: Mane (£30m), Karius (£4.75m), Matip (free)
Out: Ibe (£15m), Skrtel (£5.5m), Sinclair (£4m), Canos (£2.5m), Teixeira (£250k), Rossiter (£250k), Toure (free)
Time to get Chilwell sorted. If you've just got £15m for an attacker who has 1 PL goal to his name, surely you can't haggle over a couple of million citing lack of experience.

why buy a 3rd choice keeper really?
that's what is wrong with this country, surely every academy has a young GK that can be 3rd choice...surely?

We've loaned one keeper to Huddersfield and another to Chesterfield. Suppose playing time is considered more important than sitting behind two pros.
Really though, still can't believe anyone is arsed. 3rd. Choice. Goalkeeper.

Echo reporting we will buy a centre back now too.
Hopefully not Steven Caulker though.
Sakho will miss the start of the season through injury, Ilori is at the Olympics and might go anyway, wisdom might stick around now but Gomez has unfortunately just done his Achilles and will be out even longer.
They've said it'll be an experienced centre half. Wonder if nick the Greek is still about.

I really hope Gomez' injuries don't hold him back too much, he was looking very promising.

Strangely as you say that, Gomez on my FM save quit after a string of long-term injuries. I think it was in the 2nd or 3rd season, too.

Zielinski is off to Milan and reports we won't pay for Chilwell.
Knowing nothing about either I can't claim to be disappointed in missing out on them, but it is frustrating that the club can't get deals done for two players the manager wanted.
Reports say we will go after another midfielder but will settle with Brad Smith as back up. With Klopp in charge I'm all for player development over numerous transfers but just hope this decision doesn't come back to bite us.

Well if you've said it umpteen times it must be true, regardless of how atrocious his performances have been with us.

Hector seems like a perfect signing for Klopp, no idea why that's not happening. Seen on Twitter some rumours we could go for Mathieu as cover for CB / LB. Wouldn't be a bad idea, then we could go get Chilwell on the cheap next summer. Is Chilwell even worth what we're looking to spend on him never mind what Leicester want for him? Really hope we at least bring in another midfielder.

Talk on Twitter saying we're going for Wijnaldum for £20m. He scored against us last season which seems to be an essential criteria for us when we buy players. Also, we're set to sign 30-year-old CB Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg for £4m according to Barrett. Can Wijnaldum's play CM?
