Mourinho talking absolute garbage already. Marching into a press conference with a list of 49 player he gave debut's too is funny enough, but funnier still is when he actually e-mailed the list round to journalists and they had a few hours to analyse it; www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/jul/05/jose-mourinho-right-one-manchester-unitedHe e-mailed 55 names. Included Arjen Robben, Mikel John Obi, Lassana Diara, Marko Arnautovic, Raphaël Varane and Kurt Zouma. Many others he included had played many times for previous clubs and even a few had international caps. As for the fair shouts? As for the legitimate ones, 10 had played fewer than 10 minutes for the Portuguese. Three – John Swift, Sam Hutchinson and Anthony Grant – had managed a minute each. Only 11 out of the original 49 had played 90 minutes or more under Mourinho. One, unfortunately, was Carlos Alberto. Another was Casemiro and Mourinho appeared to have forgotten that the Brazilian had played 66 games for São Paulo before Real Madrid signed him.

If you sign a lot of players then of course you hand out a lot of debuts.
How many of his list of 49 have gone on and either been mainstays for their team?
Glad that the Manc media aren't falling for his shit either.

Mourinho would have never played Rashford in a million years last season, that's the difference. Would have been Rooney, Fellaini, Depay, Mata, probably even big Chris Smalling up front before he gave someone like Rashford a chance.

Rashford only got a chance with LvG because he sold all of our strikers, he sold Hernandez and RvP and let Falcao leave and replaced them with one player Martial.

I always remember the media nut hugging him whenever he gave Loftus-Cheek a few games at the end of a season with nothing to play for. Last season was great that not only did he fail at Chelsea, but the media finally caught on what a cunt he was and started calling him out on it. Now that he's with United, they'll be all over his balls again. Imagine if the manager of United came out claiming that there's a campaign against them.

he'll be more intolerable because despite how he just managed to fuck up a job where the fans adored him, where the club grovelled to get him back and went through a protracted legal case for him which found him, legally speaking, a cunt, he's managed to walk into his dream job

I've never really liked Mourinho but if he gets us winning titles again I don't really care how much shit he talks or how many young players he gives debuts to. Also lets face it as good as he was Ferguson was hardly a saint and talked some some utter bollocks in interviews over the years.

Tbf I don't think I've ever seen anyone look so displeased as Mourinho during his unveiling.

Getting pretty sick of hearing this is his 'dream job' or 'the job he's always wanted'. What are people basing these statements on? If that was the case why did he turn down the chance back in 2013 because he wanted to rejoin Chelsea? This has been confirmed by Fergie in his book. If there was one job you could speculate on his desire to take it would be Barcelona imo. Lots of people close to him have said he wanted to manage United at some point, fairly common knowledge around media circles.

Mkhitaryan confirmed today after what felt like an eternity after Dortmund saying he'd gone.
I look forward to who this 4th 'specialist' signing is. Some speculation think it's Pogba to which may likely involve him fishing for an improved deal at Juve, or Juve trying to put pressure on Real or if we are genuinely interested for what would probably be close to the world record transfer fee. Getting him along with Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan in one window would be pretty impressive. Funnily enough they're all represented by Mino Raiola, who probably deserves a position on the Utd board if he pulls Pogba to Utd through.
I'm happy that Jose has said Rooney will only play as forward, and to stop all that shit in the media believing that he can transition into midfield, as well as put pressure on Rooney to perform.

I still think we could do with another few players and we need to get rid of a shitload. I'd rather we spent the money more wisely than spending it all on Pogba tbh, i'm sure we could get three players for the prices being touted for him, I think we need another RB and a winger as well as a CM.

Barcelona rejected Mourinho specifically because of his attitude/personality when they went with Guardiola instead. And looking at how things have gone since then I can't see him managing there.
He's long been linked with United, long been talked of as his 'dream role' even if he himself has never said it.
