Glad Ibrahimovic is proving me right, he's as average a striker as you'll get.

The game plan was thrown out the window after 29 seconds and everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. Bailly going off injured for Rojo was the nail in the coffin of any chance of getting something for me.
A portfolio of retarded individual errors on our part.

Isn't even that elite of a Chelsea team. Alonso, Moses, Chalobah and they're taking the piss.
For a club to have spent about 500m in 7 transfer windows and to have only this to show for it is hilarious/dangerous (no matter how well off they are).

A league where Hatem Ben Arfa looks like a great player and Balotelli is a competent goalscorer and they thought Ibrahimovic would come in and dominate.

Got 5 in his first 5 games but has been shit since, not that we've involved him much in the last week, in games where we're going to try and counter - which will happen a lot under Mourinho - Rashford or Martial will be a much better option.

Tbf I don't think Ibrahimovic has been that bad, he's been starved of any sort of decent service. Pogba is by far the biggest bust though, not dominating games is one thing but he's been anonymous since he arrived.
Can't wait for the Monday morning papers to completely ignore it.

Italy suits him as well, half their centre halves are below 6 foot and the football is slow as fuck. Add in how Mourinho inhibits any attacking instinct from his midfield and it takes away Ibrahimovic dropping back and playmaking, which is one of his best attributes.

The purchases that have been made seem to have ended up being not the right fit for Utd like Rojo, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger and Darmian. Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger were supposed to be our long-awaited central midfield fix that Fergie had long neglected but none of them delivered under LVG and under Jose, one is a benchwarmer at best and the other is totally frozen out. Darmian can't handle a wide player who'll run at him. Rojo is just not of the quality Utd aspire to be whatsoever. Depay has been disastrous for us. ADM was arguably the worst buy we've ever made and Falcao was a bad loan. The only good LVG buy has been Blind. Martial, Herrera and Shaw seem more like club buys. Fellaini was definitely a Moyes panic buy and Mata was probably one too.
Fellaini and Herrera are our central midfield and they're not strictly central midfielders per se. Fellaini is limited and only good as a make-shift destroyer when we're not losing and to be fair to Herrera, he's done a fine job at central midfielder even though it's not quite his position. Pogba will come good in time, especially when we get a proper defensive midfielder in there. Valencia is a make-shift right back who does a good job but not the type of thing you'd want if you want to win the league.
So in conclusion, it's been a mess of Moyes panic buying, really bad LVG transfers and maybe even Fergie neglecting key areas in his last two seasons (go all in on RVP and ignore central midfield). It feels like this team is a bit of a Frankenstein monster at the moment and Jose can't exactly cull the majority of the team in one summer as he'd probably like too. I imagine and like to hope he'll be busy in January as he usually has been in the past.
